IBC 2017: XPression Graphite from Ross Video integrates all-in-one production with premium news and sports graphics

Ross Video is pleased to announce that Graphite, a reliable all-in-one production system, now ships with Ross Rocket Surgery Graphics packages for studio, news and sports.

The Rocket Surgery packages showcase the smart production power of Graphite, which integrates Ross XPression real time motion graphics with the Ross Carbonite processing engine. With near limitless layering on a single channel, along with true 3D object and animation, XPression Graphite is the motion graphics engine that cannot be matched. The Rocket Surgery packages can be used out-of-the-box or as a baseline for customisation.

For sports productions, Rocket Surgery has built a full insert package including lower thirds, tombstones, and full page stats. The package also includes individual score bugs for US football, basketball, soccer, and hockey. This dynamic package is easily customised to fit a client team’s logo and colour scheme to ensure that the overall look is unique to their brand. Supplements such as User Guides and Ross DashBoard Apps are also included making this comprehensive package a great tool for new users to quickly elevate their skillsets.

For news productions, Rocket Surgery has created a high energy package including opens, lower thirds, interstitials, and full screen graphics with remote boxes and animated charts. This network quality package is ready for use out-of-the-box.

“The combination of Graphite with Rocket Surgery packages is a tremendous value add to an already comprehensive all-in-one system,” stated Nigel Spratling, director  for production switchers, video servers and cameras, Ross Video. “XPression Graphite ensures that new customers are producing their news and sports broadcasts with professionally designed graphics in no time.”
