NAB 2018: MAXON Cinema 4D Artists Julia Siemón, Nick Campbell Named StudioDaily 50 Honorees

MAXON, the leading developer of professional 3D modeling, animation, painting and rendering solutions, congratulates motion graphics artists Julia Siemón and Nick Campbell who were honored at NAB 2018 as StudioDaily 50 award recipients. Sponsored by industry news site StudioDaily, the award celebrates a cross section of influential creatives and technologists whose leadership exemplifies innovative and creative thinking.

Siemón and Campbell are well known for using MAXON Cinema 4D, the company’s highly acclaimed 3D software application, on design and motion graphics projects on behalf of leading brands as well as training and education. During NAB 2018, they each appeared as guest artist presenters at the MAXON exhibitor booth to share Cinema 4D insights and techniques.

Julia Siemón, operating as GIMIK in New York City, is a motion graphics industry professional specializing in design direction and creative support for commercial and broadcast clients. For the past 15 years, she has contributed 3D execution, branding, and technical/creative problem solving expertise on award-winning rebrands for Spike, TV Land, and The Weather Channel. Siemón’s list of commercial clients includes Microsoft, Mucinex, Google, Schick and Calvin Klein. Currently she is working in developing immersive content for VR. Siemón also holds a faculty position at School of Visual Arts where she teaches 3D design and animation.

Nick Campbell is the founder and president of Chicago-based Greyscalegorilla.com. A widely sought out industry influencer and presenter, over the past nine years Campbell has taught more than 100,000 motion designers and 3D animators at every level of experience. Acclaimed for his candid teaching style and design based approach, Campbell has transformed the online education space; earning the company the #1 destination for the motion design and 3D community. Under Campbell’s direction, Greyscalegorilla also develops popular Cinema 4D software-compatible tools focused on streamlining the creative workflow and helping artists lead a creative life and build a business around their skills.
