Paris 2024: Advanced Image Robotics' AIR One X Robots Capture Epic Images at Games

With the Paris Games off and running, a fleet of Advanced Image Robotics’ AIR One X robots, flying Sony cameras and lenses, are on hand capturing enduring images of the world’s greatest athletes in action.

AIR’s unique tech provides a number of advantages for a huge international sporting event like the one taking place in Paris this month:

  • AIR One robots can be deployed throughout the city and controlled from a central location, saving time and cost in travel, especially when physical access to spaces may be restricted.
  • They can swiftly and accurately track action, ensuring users always gets the best shot.
  • They have a minimal footprint and can be mounted in unusual places, getting the angle no one else can get.
  • They can be quickly deployed and redeployed, saving days or weeks of prep time and damage from exposure to the elements.
  • They are radically less expensive and simpler to operate than traditional robotics, making AIR One available to a much wider user base.

AIR One X is scheduled to ship commercially in Q4, and supports the Sony FX3, Alpha 1, and approved Sony lenses up to 300mm in length. Units can be reserved now through Advanced Image Robotics or Broadfield Distribution. AIR One original is available now and supports all Z CAM flagship models up to 8K.

In other Paris Games news, Nick Didlick will be featuring shots using AIR technology on his Instagram and blog in coming weeks – all captured remotely.
