TVU Networks Sets Rental Record in Qatar

TVU Networks will provide 24/7 on-site support servicing more rentals of live equipment in Qatar than ever before in the company’s year history. From November 20 to December 18, viewers will experience live coverage as worldwide broadcasters make audiences feel they are alongside their teams in Doha.

Capturing local sights and sounds, immersing in the culture, and of course, covering the competition all require content not available on the international pool feed. To that end, hundreds of TVU One backpacks and countless RPS Link transceivers have been commissioned. TVU is also ensuring content comes from more than just the host country. Through an exclusive partnership with Total Media Cast, live feeds from fan zones from all corners of the globe will be made available through TVU Grid.

“There has been an international investment explosion in TVU live solutions,” says Halid Hatic, TVU Networks’ VP of Media Services, “Success after success naturally has broadcasters taking notice of how delay-free and problem-free TVU solutions are. Fox Sports, ESPN, CNN, the Alphabet Networks, and hundreds of local TV stations have all been long-time North American customers but now we’re very busy with customers from Korea, China, Japan, India, France, Germany, Australia, Israel, and many more.”

“It is a good problem to have,” TVU Networks CEO Paul Shen explains, “We collaborate with our customers so that we are in perfect sync, and in that way there are no surprises. Despite our recent growth, every delivery is set in stone, and every order is filled.”
