Super Bowl LII

Super Bowl LII: NBC's Production of The Big Game – By the Numbers

NBC Sports’ coverage of Super Bowl LII begins Sunday, February 4, at Noon ET from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN. To produce this year’s game, NBC Sports will use a crew of more than 500 employees, 106 cameras, 50 miles of cable, 14 mobile units, and a massive collection of additional tools and resources.

In addition to live coverage of the game, NBC Sports will deliver six hours of pre-game coverage, and more than 10 NBCSN and NBCUniversal shows will report from Minneapolis during Super Bowl week. NBC Sports Group alone will present 200-plus hours of Super Bowl coverage during the week.

Al Michaels will call Super Bowl LII alongside Cris Collinsworth and Michele Tafoya. Michaels will become only the second television commentator to earn 10 Super Bowl play-by-play assignments – joining former CBS and FOX announcer Pat Summerall (11). Collinsworth and Tafoya will each work their fourth Super Bowl.
