Live From Super Bowl LIV: Fox Sports Lays Out Plan for Game-Day Streaming

24/7 onsite coverage, original shows, game broadcast will be available on multiple platforms

Fox Sports, which is producing Super Bowl LIV, will connect fans with the world’s biggest sports event over digital platforms in more ways than ever before. In addition to 24/7 onsite coverage and original shows from Fox Sports’ digital platforms, its Super Bowl LIV broadcast will be made available to streaming audiences in English and Spanish in a record number of ways: on the FOX Sports App, FOX Now app, FoxSports.com, FoxDeportes.com, the NFL app, NFL.com, and Yahoo Sports (mobile devices). The game is also available on the 49ers’ and Chiefs’ mobile properties.

Fox Sports’ David Katz says a Super Bowl watch party with Joe Montana, Brett Favre, and Drew Brees will give digital viewers another option.

Fox Sports will also provide fans with a unique, second-screen digital experience, the Super Bowl LIV Watch Party. Three iconic Super Bowl champion quarterbacks — Joe Montana, Brett Favre, and Drew Brees — will analyze the game together and share their own Super Bowl experiences live on the FOX Sports app, FOXSports.com, and @FOXSports social handles on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Caffeine. Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt hosts the live stream, with an interactive format allowing fans to submit questions using the hashtag #AsktheLegends.

“This has been an extraordinary week for Fox Sports’ digital platforms, debuting innovative, groundbreaking experiences, and Sunday will be no different,” says David Katz, EVP/head of digital, Fox Sports. “In addition to the 49ers-Chiefs live stream, our Super Bowl LIV Watch Party stars legends Joe Montana, Brett Favre, and Drew Brees, as they hang out together and share wisdom and personal stories that you won’t hear on the broadcast.”
