Shaka Arnon, WSC Sports, Head of U.S. Operations

Shaka Arnon is the head of WSC Sports’ North American operations. He was born and raised in Israel and has resided in New Jersey since 2016. On top of leading WSC Sports’ North American operations, Arnon is a true sports enthusiast who enjoys both watching and practicing. He holds a B.Sc and M.Sc. in computer science from IDC Hertzeliya.

Alex Blanding, SNY, VP, Engineering

Alex Blanding is the VP of engineering for SNY, the official television home of the New York Mets, New York Jets, and all things New York sports. In this capacity, he is responsible for all of the broadcast technology behind SNY’s award-winning studio and remote productions.

SNY is a regional sports network seen on 8 million homes throughout the New York, Metropolitan area and nationally on DirecTV and Comcast. The network features unparalleled access to the New York Mets, with live games and shoulder programming, and 300 hours of year-round, in-depth New York Jets content. SNY is New York’s leader in local sports coverage, airing nightly sports and entertainment programs.

A 20-year veteran of the industry, Blanding started in the broadcast integration business designing and building projects for a wide range of clients including National Geographic, Sirius Radio, MTV, VH1, Oxygen, ABC, and QVC. From there he moved onto the manufacturing side with NVISION (now Grass Valley) supporting a wide range of routing and master control solutions for broadcast companies including PBS, ABC, ESPN, Comcast, NBC, and TV Globo.

Blanding is a three-time New York Emmy Award winner and is a graduate of the Institute of Audio Research.

Brooks Boyer, Chicago White Sox, SVP, Sales and Marketing

Brooks Boyer enters his 15th season with the White Sox in 2018, overseeing the team’s marketing, corporate partnerships sales and service, ticket sales and service, premium seating sales and service, broadcasting, game operations, promotions, advertising, licensing, business analytics, and development.

With a leadership style centered on fan engagement, Boyer oversaw the construction of a data warehouse to gain insight and information to identify and meet guests’ needs in the ballpark. Boyer also focuses attention on the long-term development of the White Sox fan base by helping establish the team’s youth marketing initiatives. Other notable accomplishments under Boyer’s leadership include: securing the multiyear sponsorship agreement with naming rights partner Guaranteed Rate for Guaranteed Rate Field and Guaranteed Rate Club in 2016; the opening of ChiSox Bar & Grill and the Chicago Sports Depot in 2011; and securing naming rights for ballpark attractions, such as the Beggars Pizza Pub, Magellan Scout Seats, and Huntington Bank Stadium Club – to name a few.

Boyer oversees the annual advertising and branding campaigns, as well as the introduction and implementation of digital ticketing and dynamic pricing. He also directs the club’s relationships with its broadcast partners – WGN-TV, NBC Sports Chicago, and its Spanish-language radio partner, WRTO 1200 AM Univision America. Boyer is the club’s marketing liaison to Major League Baseball and sits on MLB’s Commissioner’s Ticketing Review Committee.

Boyer was a co-founder of Silver Chalice Ventures, formed in 2009, which joined with Sinclair Broadcast Group, MLBAM, the NHL, the PGR TOUR, and Time in 2017 to launch Stadium, a 24/7 multi-platform sports network available in broadcast and cable markets across the country, as well as on Facebook, Twitter, SlingTV, PlutoTV, WatchStadium.com, and Stadium-branded applications. Boyer serves as a board member for Stadium.

Prior to joining the White Sox in April 2004, Boyer spent 10 years with the Chicago Bulls. He was with the franchise for the final three of its six NBA titles.

A 1994 graduate of Notre Dame, Boyer is also a graduate of the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul and is an inductee into the Lumen Christi High School (Jackson, MI) Sports Hall of Fame.

Lyndon Campbell, Nielsen Sports, SVP, Leagues and Rights Holders

Lyndon Campbell has served in a leadership capacity in the Nielsen Sports practice for over 11 years. Campbell is currently SVP of leagues and rights holders in North America. His experience includes working with corporate brands in evaluation of sports sponsorship investment and sports properties to provide guidance on content rights valuations, fan growth, and sponsor development. Prior to joining Nielsen, Campbell served in business development and strategic roles at AOL, Cablevision, and Dynasty Global Holdings.

Robert Carzoli, Program Productions, President and CEO

As a second-generation owner, Robert Carzoli has overseen 15 years of astronomical growth at Program Productions and now runs the broadcast industry’s largest labor management firm. A current consecutive 11 year run on Inc. Magazine‘s 500/5000 List of the Fastest Growing Privately-Held Companies is a testament to the outstanding customer service and employer-of-choice status that Program Productions has enjoyed under Carzoli’s leadership.

Carzoli brings over three decades of diverse labor management expertise to Program Productions and its customers. His experience in managing union relationships, implementing national employee benefit programs, developing employer-side liability and risk mitigation platforms, and navigating complex federal and state labor laws has helped Program Productions grow into an organization that handled almost 6,000 event days and paid over 10,000 technicians in 2016 alone. In recent years, he has established an Advanced Media Division which specializes in “at-home” production and labor needs. Carzoli has also expanded the company’s reach north of the border into Canada. The company’s recent acquisitions of smaller, local labor management firms and the next-generation launch of its proprietary enterprise resource management system, ProCrewz, are signals that neither Carzoli nor Program Productions are resting on their collective laurels.

Carzoli is involved in a number of local and national charities and has spearheaded Program Productions’ participation in the Sports Broadcasting Fund through the Sports Video Group.

Michael Connelly, Fox Sports Regional Networks, SVP and Executive Producer

Michael Connelly is responsible for the day-to-day production of FSN’s 19 regional sports networks and national broadcasts of the Pac-12, Big 12, CUSA events, and all studio shows including College Football Saturday. He currently works in the Fox Sports Studios in Los Angeles.

As the network’s first-ever executive producer, Connelly first joined Fox Sports Arizona when it launched in September 1996. He led the production effort for FS Arizona’s regional programming and was instrumental in helping launch the Arizona Sports Report in July 2000. Connelly managed the debut of Diamondbacks baseball and Coyotes hockey, as well as their respective pre-game shows: Diamondbacks Countdown and Coyotes Countdown. At Fox Sports Arizona, Connelly oversaw all aspects of the P/L including sales, production, programming, marketing, public relations, and affiliate sales, as Fox Sports Arizona is the state’s only regional sports cable network that reaches 3 million homes in Arizona and New Mexico. Connelly also served as the first executive producer for Fox Sports North in Minneapolis from 2001 to 2003 and oversaw the launch of Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Prior to the launch of FS Arizona, Connelly worked as a producer and director for 15 years for FSN, CBS, NBC, ABC, ESPN, The Baseball Network, and Midwest Sports Channel. Local team productions include the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota North Stars, Minnesota Wild, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Minnesota Wild, and the Big Ten Conference. Connelly received a Midwest Regional Emmy Award in 1996 and 1997 for his work producing coverage of University of Minnesota hockey and received Emmy nominations for his work on Twins and Timberwolves telecasts.

At the start of his career in sports television, Connelly worked for nine years finishing as coordinating producer and senior line producer at CBS O&O, WCCO Television, and Midwest Sports Channel. He joined the network at its inception in 1989 when it was known as WCCO 2, and received the first of what would be two experiences in helping launch a regional sports television network. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Connelly attended the University of Minnesota’s School of Mass Communications and Brown College of Broadcast Engineering.

Brandon Costa, SVG, Director of Digital

Brandon Costa covers the sports video production industry, with a focus on live streaming, over-the-top (OTT), social media, and other digital distribution technologies and platforms. He also directs SVG’s internal digital strategies launching the company’s video outfit, ‘SVG On Demand,’ designing and overseeing its mobile application, ‘SVG Mobile,’ and serving as executive producer and host of The SVG Podcast. Costa serves as program director of both the SVG College Summit and the SVG Digital Summit. Prior to his time at SVG, Costa spent five years producing digital content for MLB Advanced Media.

Kevin Cross, NBC Sports Chicago, VP, Content

Named NBC Sports Chicago’s vice president of content in July of 2017, Kevin Cross heads up the regional sports network’s comprehensive and growing portfolio of multi-platform content including live events, programming, digital media, news, and original content across online, mobile, and social assets. Previously holding the title of senior director of news and original content at NBC Sports Chicago (formerly CSN Chicago), Cross was instrumental in the creation of an original content division that produced feature-length, award-winning documentaries, along with bringing in a significant roster of former/current Chicago pro athletes as network contributors and producing/managing the network’s acclaimed coverage of multiple pro team championship seasons.

Cross began his sports television career at SportsChannel Chicago in 1993 as a producer, earning Emmys for writing and for his work on Bulls pre/post-game shows during the team’s championship run. During the network’s transition to Fox Sports Chicago in 1998, Cross was promoted to senior producer and orchestrated the network’s live pre/post-game shows for both Bulls and White Sox telecasts, along with a number of sports magazine series. In 2000, Cross became president/executive producer of Timeline Productions, where he created syndicated sports programming for national distribution (including Fox Sports) in 65 million households. In 2003, Cross joined CLTV as executive producer of their sports department, where he oversaw all editorial content and helped create the network’s popular Sports Page Roundtable & SP Express programs. A native of Chicago’s Southside, Cross received his degree in television production from Chicago’s Columbia College.

Patrick Crumb, AT&T Sports Networks, President

Patrick Crumb is the president of AT&T Sports Networks (formerly DirecTV Sports Networks), a subsidiary of AT&T based in Seattle, WA. He is responsible for leading the AT&T Sports Networks group and its four regional sports networks branded as AT&T SportsNet and (in the Northwest) Root Sports. In 2017, The Sports Business Journal and Broadcasting & Cable Magazine both named Crumb as one of the most influential executives in the regional sports television industry.

Previously, Crumb served as DirecTV Sports Networks’ EVP of business affairs and general counsel. Prior to joining DirecTV in 2009, Crumb held senior executive positions in major media companies, as EVP and general counsel of Liberty Sports Group, a subsidiary of Denver-based Liberty Media, and as a SVP and GM for Los Angeles-based Fox Interactive Media, a division of News Corporation.

A 1988 graduate of the University of Washington’s School of Law, Crumb was a partner at two prominent Seattle law firms before leaving private practice in 2000 to join Rival Networks and Rivals.com as the SVP of corporate and business development. Following Rivals, Crumb became the co-founder and president of Scout Media from start-up through the successful sale of the company to Fox Interactive Media in 2005.

Crumb is active in civic and charitable organizations. His current board positions include The University of Washington Foundation (Executive Committee) and the Seattle Sports Commission. Past volunteer leadership positions include president of the University of Washington Alumni Association, president of The 101 Club, and chairman of the Board of Governors of the Washington Athletic Club. He also has previously served on the Board of Trustees of Saint Martin’s University in Olympia, WA, where he earned summa cum laude and Valedictorian honors in receiving his undergraduate degree.

Jason Dachman, SVG, Chief Editor and RSN Summit Program Director

Jason Dachman oversees all aspects of SVG’s North American editorial operations, including the thrice-weekly SVG Insider newsletter and SVG’s annual print publications. A member of the SVG team since 2009, Dachman also serves as program director for SVG’s RSN Summit, Sports Content Management & Storage (SCMS) Forum, Sports Graphics Forum, and TranSPORT event. Prior to joining SVG, he spent three years covering local sports for The Patriot Ledger in Quincy, MA, and two years on the production staff of SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s The Ron & Fez Show. Dachman began his career in the Sports Information Department at Northeastern University in Boston, where he also earned a B.A. in media communications and cinema studies.

Steve Davis, Ooyala, Chief Revenue Officer

Steve Davis is responsible for Ooyala’s global sales and marketing execution. Davis has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience with both emerging and established technology companies in the media and entertainment, enterprise, broadcast, and telco industries. He is focused on driving superior business value to customers and helping them find new and innovative solutions for the future of television.

Ed Desser, Desser Media, Founder and President

Ed Desser has more than 40 years of experience in sports media, negotiating major media deals in the local, national, and international TV marketplaces, and serving a diverse group of sports, technology, and media clients. He earned a B.A. in economics at UCLA and an M.B.A. in marketing from USC.

For 23 years, Desser served in the Commissioner’s Office of the National Basketball Association, ultimately as president of NBA Television and New Media Ventures, and EVP of strategic planning and business development. He was the chief negotiator for all NBA and WNBA national media agreements, served on the NBA Board of Governors Planning Committee, and invented/spearheaded the launch of NBA TV and nba.com. Desser also created the NBA League Pass outer-market games subscription package, negotiated all related carriage agreements with MVPDs, and established the league’s broadcast regulatory framework. As VP/GM of NBA Entertainment, and VP/International Television, he developed the league’s TV production and distribution business, growing the NBA’s media footprint to 200 countries.

In 2005, Desser founded Desser Sports Media (DSM), and later Desser Media (DMI), which specialize in strategic media planning; performing rights valuations; creating business plans for networks; conducting regional, national, and international media rights negotiations, mergers & acquisitions support; and providing litigation/expert witness services to professional sports teams, leagues, and conferences – maximizing the value of their media rights and serving programmers, distributors, and tech companies in strategic planning and business development.  Desser has advised on over $27 billion in sports and media transactions to date. The firms have negotiated more than 70 sports media rights deals, advised over 30 professional sports teams with respect to their media rights, and worked on behalf of leagues and national bodies including the NFL, MLB, NBA, MLS, PGA Tour, Big 12 Conference, CFL, PRCA, PBA, UFC, and NHRA, where Desser was also named to the Board of Directors. In addition, DSM has provided services to media companies including Tribune Company, DirecTV, Fox, Time Warner Cable, Rogers Communications, TELUS, and Videotron. Desser led the Los Angeles Lakers in connection with the largest regional sports media rights deal in TV history and the country’s most significant RSN transaction in nearly a decade.

Mike Dimond, Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin, SVP and GM

Mike Dimond, SVP and GM of Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin, has directed the regional sports networks’ operations since May, 2004. With over 30 years in the television industry, Dimond oversees sales, marketing, programming, production, and business development as part of his of day-to-day management of Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin.

Under his leadership, Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin have earned many regional Emmy Awards, including four prestigious ‘Board of Governor’s Emmy’ awards, saluting broadcasters, non-profit organizations, and corporations who partner together on programming to supports local communities.

Both Fox Sports North and Fox Sports Wisconsin have significantly increased their live event programming and made dramatic gains in developing original local programming during Dimond’s tenure. Dimond has secured exclusive television partnerships with the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Wild, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks —deals that moved all of the team’s games exclusively to cable. In addition, he has overseen the launch of the Fox Sports North Plus channel, as well as foxsportsnorth.com and foxsportswisconsin.com. Dimond is also responsible for the creation and accomplishment behind one of Fox Sports North’s marquee events, Hockey Day Minnesota, which is entering its thirteenth year.

Prior to taking the helm at Fox Sports North, Dimond served as executive producer for Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain from 1996-2004 and worked for the Denver-based regional sports cable network in other producing roles since its inception in 1988 until 1993. His television career began with directing high school football while attending Colorado State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in speech and theatre arts in 1981. Since 1981, Dimond’s experiences as producer and director include live telecasts of the Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, Minnesota Timberwolves, Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets, college football, college baseball, college basketball, college hockey, swimming and diving, track and field, and gymnastics.

International and national events also are a part of Dimond’s repertoire, having served as senior executive producer for Star Sports in Hong Kong from 1994-1996 and as an associate producer at the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona for the Baseball World Feed. He was part of the production team at the Australian Open and French Open.

Dimond serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities and is involved with cause marketing efforts for Special Olympics Minnesota and Feed My Starving Children.

Rich Eilers, Canon U.S.A., National Accounts Sales Director

Rich Eilers is the national accounts sales director for Canon U.S.A.’s Professional Products Sales and Engineering Group. A veteran of the broadcast business and Canon, he has been leading the company’s strategic approach to the sports production market. Serving in a number of field and sales management positions over his tenure, Eilers has been coordinating and managing the support efforts by Canon for over 25 years at the largest sports events the industry handles.

Jeff Filippi, MSG Networks, SVP of Production/Programming and Executive Producer

Jeff Filippi is senior vice president of programming/production and executive producer for MSG Networks. In this position, he oversees nearly 350 live productions every year between the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, New York Liberty, New York Red Bulls, and the Westchester Knicks. He also oversees pre-game and post-game coverage, MSG Networks’ live studio shows, and manages over 30 on-air talent, in addition to all production personnel. Filippi joined MSG Networks in 2005 and reports to Andrea Greenberg, the president and CEO of MSG Networks.

Under Filippi’s purview, MSG Networks has won more New York Emmy Awards than any other network or station in the region over the past decade.

Prior to joining MSG Networks, Filippi held roles at every major network including ABC, NBC, CBS, and ESPN, and worked as a producer on four winter Olympic Games. He was also an original hire at Classic Sports Network where he served as vice president and executive producer through the sale of the network to ESPN.

Philip Garvin, Mobile TV Group, President/Founder/Co-Owner

Philip Garvin is the president, founder, and co-owner of the Mobile Television Group, the nation’s second largest mobile production facilities company. He is also the president of​ Colorado Studios which manufactures mobile units.

A graduate of Yale University, Garvin started his career as a photographer before moving into television in the mid-70s. In 2001, he cofounded (with Mark Cuban) HDNet, the ​first ​all-high definition national television network​. He was its general manager for twelve years.​

Garvin has built his businesses around his experience as a creative producer and technologist. By combining both skills, he has been able to offer cost-effective production solutions that are unique in the industry. Since 1980, he has built three companies playing a major role in sports television production. Mobile TV Group (including Mountain Mobile TV, Lone Star Mobile TV, and Western Mobile TV) provides facilities for over 4,000 live professional and college sports events each year with 2​8 mobile units based all over the United States. It is the leading mobile company for regional sports networks’ MLB, NBA, and NHL productions and developed the “dual feed” approach.

In 2016, Mobile TV Group launched the first 4K mobile unit in the United States. Built from the ground-up for 4K/UHD, 38 FLEX was the mobile unit for ground-breaking 4K productions including the Masters, the PGA Championship, Notre Dame football, the Garth Brooks concert, and the World Series of Beach Volleyball.

Ron Gralnik, Fox Sports Networks, VP, Production

Ron Gralnik is the VP of production for Fox Sports Networks (FSN). In this capacity, Gralnik has national oversight over MLB and NHL productions across Fox Sports’ 22 Regional Sports Networks. Previously, he served as coordinating producer at FSN. Gralnik has been with FSN since its launch in 1996.

Prior to joining FSN, Gralnik was a producer at ESPN, where he worked on the launch of ESPN2 and produced the flagship news show, Sportsnite and then Up Close with Roy Firestone and Chris Meyers. Granlik got his start as a sports producer with a variety of Los Angeles broadcast networks. From 1985 to 1993, Granlik’s work for KTLA, KCBS, KNBC, and KCOP earned him two Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards.

Gralnik began his sports television career in 1982 while attending USC. He graduated from USC in 1983 with a B.A. in broadcast journalism.

Steve Grigely, Fox Sports Networks, VP, Technical Operations

Steve Grigely began his television career in 2002 freelancing while attending Arizona State University. After graduating in 2006, he was hired by CBS Mobile in Los Angeles. Grigely and a small team helped launch the start of CBS Mobile, streaming network content to mobile phone subscribers. After a year at CBS, Grigely had the desire to return to the sports broadcast industry. In 2007, he was hired at Fox Sports as a production coordinator. Grigely immediately made an impact on Fox’s biggest shows, managing production services and crewing for the Super Bowls in Arizona and Dallas, as well as the Daytona 500 and World Series. In 2009, Grigely was promoted to manager of field operations and began taking on technical responsibility.

With Fox’s growing number of sports properties, Grigely assumed additional responsibilities in project management. He started overseeing mobile unit and vendor equipment deals, as well as the NFL on Fox and its soccer properties. In 2013, Grigely was promoted to director of technical operations and continued to flourish in managing major Jewel events such as Super Bowl XLVIII in New York and the World Series. In 2015, Grigely transitioned to the RSNs, overseeing operations for Fox Sports Regional Networks as VP of technical operations. Grigely continues his role at Fox Sports Networks today, focusing on improving mobile unit equipment, finding production efficiencies, and expanding technology in Fox Sports Regional broadcasts.

Ted Griggs, NBC Sports Regional Networks, President, Group Leader and Strategic Production & Programming

Ted Griggs was named President, Group Leader and Strategic Production and Programming, NBC Sports Regional Networks, in October 2016. Griggs oversees NBC Sports Boston, NBC Sports Philadelphia, NBC Sports Philadelphia +, NBC Sports Washington, and NBC Sports Washington +. He works closely with the general managers of each network to lead strategies promoting the growth and optimization of the businesses. He also oversees the strategy for production and programming for the NBC Sports Regional Networks. Griggs reports to David Preschlack, President, NBC Sports Regional Networks, and NBC Sports Group Platform and Content Strategy.

Previously, Griggs served as president of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area and Comcast SportsNet California, now NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California. He first joined the network in 1998 as VP of production and operations. In 2007, Griggs was named VP and GM, and promoted to president in 2012. He led the operations of the networks including affiliate relations, advertising sales, production, programming, marketing, and public relations.

Before joining NBC Sports Regional Networks, Griggs spent 15 years (1982-1997) at Golden Gate Productions in a variety of roles and was eventually promoted to executive producer. Griggs worked on numerous sporting events, spanning from Sports Illustrated For Kids Olympics Specials to Stanford University Football and World Cup Downhill Skiing. Griggs was named nine times to San Jose Mercury News’ “Bay Area’s 25 Most Powerful Sports People.”

Griggs is a native of Hayward, CA. He is a graduate of Moreau Catholic High School and San Francisco State University.

Michael R. Hall, NESN, SVP, Digital

Michael R. Hall is the senior vice president of digital at NESN. Hall is a senior executive with over a decade of experience in building and leading profitable digital media businesses. As general manager of digital at NESN, Hall oversees NESN’s digital P&L, operations, product, and monetization. Under Hall’s leadership, NESN’s digital audience has grown to over 15M monthly unique visitors, representing a 5-year CAGR of 70%. Hall is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Steve Hellmuth, NBA, EVP, Media Operations and Technology

Steve Hellmuth is the EVP of media operations and technology for NBA Entertainment. He is responsible for overseeing the league’s broadcast operations, engineering, and statistical collection and analytics. The global delivery of video and statistics via satellite, fiber, broadband, and mobile falls under Hellmuth’s purview. Most recently, working with NBA broadcasters – local and network – he designed the Mobile View, a production tailored for viewing the NBA League Pass on mobile devices.

Hellmuth also oversees the development and implementation of the NBA broadcast facility standards for the design, construction, and operation of the NBA arenas, including lighting and camera placement in-venue. Under his direction, the NBA installed SportVU Player Tracking technology from STATS for the 2013-2014 NBA season in every venue, making the NBA the first major U.S. professional sports league to quantify and analyze the player movement in live-game action throughout an entire season. This season, player tracking is done by Second Spectrum. Hellmuth also oversaw the technical design and operation of the NBA Replay Center, now in its fourth season.

Hellmuth was the production manager for Super Bowl XX, produced the Emmy-nominated opening telecasts for the 1986 World Series, and coordinated the production of Olympic profiles for the 1980 Moscow games. Hellmuth produced Larry Bird Night for the Boston Celtics and the All Century Team Celebration on-field at the 1999 MLB All-Star game, as well. He graduated from Princeton University in 1975 with a bachelor’s degree in art history.

Kelly Higgins, NBC Sports Regional Networks, Director, Marketing

Kelly Higgins joined NBC Sports as director of marketing for the Regional Sports Networks in September of 2017. In this role, she oversees the marketing strategy for the RSNs with a focus on implementing a strong consumer engagement model driven through fan insights, data, and cross-platform activation.

Prior to joining NBC Sports, Higgins worked with the New York Mets as a senior manager of partnership activation, managing and driving renewal strategy for the team’s largest corporate partners.

Higgins also spent over four years at the National Basketball Association within the Team Marketing and Business Operations Department acting as a consultative liaison between the league office and all NBA, WNBA, and G-League teams on sponsorship and fan engagement.

Her career began at the age of 15 when she started in Minor League Baseball working for the New York Mets Organization in her hometown of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Higgins received her undergraduate degree in sports management from Florida Southern College. She later attended the University of Central Florida’s DeVos Sports Business Management program where she earned a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and Masters in sports business.

Karen Hogan Ketchum, SVG, Senior Editor

Joining the SVG team in 2011, Karen Hogan Ketchum manages SVG’s print publications, including the semiannual SportsTech Journal, the annual Mobile Sports Production Yearbook, and all event print programs. She drives the company’s Venue Initiative, writing about the sports venue production industry and coordinating the agenda for the annual Sports Venue Production Summit and Venue Production Seminars. In addition, Hogan Ketchum is the director of SVGW (formerly SVG’s Women’s Sports Media Initiative). Hogan Ketchum began her career in sports at Fordham University with WFUV Sports, serving as Supervising Producer of “One on One,” WFUV Sports’ weekly call-in show. After graduating in 2009, she spent the 2009-10 season in the public relations department of the Trenton Devils (ECHL) before taking on a freelance copy editor assignment with Professional Sports Publications.

Stuart Kurkowski, Comcast Technology Solutions, Principal Architect

Stuart Kurkowski is a recognized technical leader in the dynamic ad insertion and VOD/linear metadata fields. He is widely respected as an energetic thought leader, both internally and externally, within the cable, broadcast, and OTT sectors. Kurkowski is the technical lead behind the Comcast Technology Solutions Linear Rights Metadata Manager, an unprecedented and market-leading product used by Fox Networks, NBCU, and others. As such, his expertise spans standards efforts including SCTE standards 130, 35, and 224 (he authored its latest major revision), as well as CableLabs ESNI.

Doug Johnson, AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh, VP and Executive Producer

Doug Johnson has worked in sports television production for 28 years including the last seven as the executive producer at AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh.

A twenty two-time Emmy award winner, Johnson has produced or directed over 2,000 live pro events. He most recently served as the coordinating producer for Fox Sports Ohio. He was the event producer for Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Indians baseball telecasts, in addition to directing Cleveland Cavaliers basketball. Johnson started his professional career in production at ABC Sports in New York where he worked events such as Monday Night Football including Super Bowl XXV; the PGA Tour including the U.S Open, British Open, and PGA Championship; and college football and basketball games.

Johnson oversees all event and local production for AT&T SportsNet in Pittsburgh, the television home of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins. The network delivers more than 350 live events each year across five states.

Ken Kerschbaumer, SVG, Co-Executive Director, Editorial Services

Ken Kerschbaumer is co-executive director of editorial services for the Sports Video Group and SVG Europe. He was a co-founder of SVG along with Paul Gallo and Marty Porter in 2005 and has been writing about how sports networks and leagues use video and audio technology to deliver a quality TV experience since 1991. Kerschbaumer began his career in 1991 at Television Broadcast magazine before joining Cahners where he was founding editor of Digital Broadcasting magazine. In 2000, he joined Broadcasting & Cable magazine as senior editor of technology where he covered all aspects of broadcasting, cable, and Internet content creation and distribution.

Patrick Lucey, STATS, Director of AI

Patrick Lucey is director of artificial intelligence at STATS where his team maximizes the value of the data that STATS has to develop new analytical tools and performance understanding by leveraging the power of machine learning and computer vision. Prior to STATS, Lucey worked at Disney Research, where he conducted research into automatic sports broadcasting using large amounts of spatiotemporal tracking data. Before Disney, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University/Department of Psychology at University of Pittsburgh, conducting research on automatic facial expression recognition.

In the past three years, Lucey has been a co-author on papers in the MIT Sloan Best Research Paper Track, winning best paper in 2016 and runner-up in 2017 and 2018. His STATS AI group had four paper finalists in this year’s Research Paper Track.

Lucey received his BEng(EE) from the University of Southern Queensland and his PhD from Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 2003 and 2008 respectively.

Joseph Maar, NECF, Co-Founder and CEO

Joseph Maar is co-founder and CEO of NECF, a consortium bringing together international media, business, and finance executives deploying a new economy model with broadcast, OTT, and digital video producers. The firm’s proprietary platform increases video production capacity and improves business margins while saving time and dramatically reducing expenses.

For over two decades, Maar has worked as a broadcasting executive overseeing business development, production, programming, digital, and technical operations both internationally and in the U.S. His executive positions include NESN (VP), two Fox Sports RSNs, ESPN (co-founder of Entertainment Division, 20+ shows, and 12 new studios), and KTVU-TV (San Francisco).

Maar has created more than a dozen media and broadcasting partnerships across North America. Internationally, he consulted for the country of Qatar (Doha-based) and led international media executives planning a pan-Arab, young-adult television network.

In technology, Maar conceived/deployed the first three generations of At-Home/Remi productions for live events (2006 with CSTV, 2007 at FOX Sports North, and 2013 at NESN). He also co-developed Production Automation with the president and team at ParkerVision (now GVG Ignite). In collaboration with Silicon Valley-style startups, Maar created the first four generations of multi-camera productions via cellular bonding (LiveU, 2008-present); co-developed viewer-to-broadcast interactive graphics (Phizzle, 2008-present); and helped create crowd sourcing mobile video-to-broadcast (Burst, 2013-present).

Maar has been awarded three national Emmy Awards and 30+ regional Emmys in content and technical innovation categories. He is currently the treasurer for NATAS-Boston/New England and past vice president of NATAS Upper Midwest.

Matt Majka, Minnesota Wild, President and Alternate Governor

Matt Majka is in his second season as president and alternate governor for Minnesota Sports and Entertainment (MSE) and his 22nd year with the organization. He previously held the positions of COO, EVP, SVP of business operations, and VP of marketing and corporate sponsorships.

MSE is a regional sports and entertainment leader that has grown into several different business operations including the Minnesota Wild, the Iowa Wild (the Minnesota Wild’s minor league affiliate), 317 on Rice Park, and the facility management of Xcel Energy Center and Saint Paul RiverCentre.

During his tenure with the Wild, Majka has been instrumental in fostering the unique relationship between the hockey club and its fan base. The team’s continued dedication to the fans of the “State of Hockey” is reflected in the Ultimate Standings in ESPN The Magazine, as the Wild were named the “Best Stadium Experience” in the NHL from 2007-10. Minnesota ranked first in the NHL and sixth overall for “Stadium Experience” in the field of all 122 major league sports franchises in 2012.

Majka joined the Minnesota Wild in October of 1997 from Rollerblade, where he started work in 1984. He began as a sales representative for the fledgling company and held positions of increasing responsibility through his 13-year tenure including: sales representative, regional sales manager, marketing manager, director of international business, senior director of product marketing, and culminating with his appointment as VP of product marketing. During his tenure, the privately-held company grew revenues from $1 million to more than $200 million annually.

The Detroit, MI native has lived in the Twin Cities for more than 50 years and is a 1984 speech communications graduate of the University of Minnesota. Majka currently serves on the Foundation Board of Children’s Minnesota, The Ordway Center for Performing Arts, the United States Hockey Hall of Fame, and the BEL13VE in Miracles Foundation.

Kevin Marotta, MSG Networks, SVP, Marketing and Content Strategy

Kevin Marotta joined MSG Networks in 2016 as senior vice president of marketing and content strategy.

As senior vice president of marketing and content strategy, Marotta oversees all on and off-air marketing and promotional activities of MSG Networks brands, as well as the development, integration, and implementation of cross-platform content strategies. He works closely with programming, digital, and advertising sales to identify client-specific integrated marketing and branded entertainment opportunities. Marotta reports to Andrea Greenberg, president and chief executive officer, MSG Networks.

Kevin Marotta joined MSG Networks after three years as VP of client partnerships for LeadDog Marketing where he led all business development efforts for the 180+ person integrated marketing agency, from creative oversight and concept development to building new client relationships. Prior to joining LeadDog, Marotta spent eight years at The Madison Square Garden Company in numerous roles, most recently as VP of corporate strategy. He managed non-architectural design elements across The Garden’s three-year, billion-dollar transformation including the presence of the signature partners within the building, as well as mixed media installations that paid homage to The Garden’s rich history.

Marotta received his M.B.A. from New York University and his B.A. from Tufts University.

Sean McGrail, NESN, President and CEO

Sean McGrail has served as president and CEO of NESN (New England Sports Network) since May of 2000. Under McGrail’s leadership, NESN has been transformed into one of the most popular media properties in New England, growing from a premium service with 400,000 subscribers to a standard service with over 4 million homes. The network is also distributed outside New England as NESN National to approximately 5 million homes in nearly 100 DMAs, as well as DirecTV, Dish Network, and over-the-top (OTT) distributors. NESN also boasts a digital group that oversees NESN.com. In 2017, NESN launched in-market streaming at www.NESNgo.com or on the NESNgo app. Forbes Magazine has ranked NESN as one of the top ten Most Valuable Sports Business Brands in the world for four consecutive years.

McGrail engineered NESN’s 2006 relocation to the NESN Television Center in Watertown, MA, considered one of the leading regional sports network facilities in the country. The move also made NESN the first regional sports network in the country to originate every game and studio show in high definition. NESN has recently updated their studios and became the first RSN to bring automation into its studio productions.

In addition to his work at NESN, McGrail also serves on the Boards of Roush Fenway Racing and The Red Sox Foundation. Roush Fenway Racing is one of the largest and most successful teams in NASCAR, fielding multiple teams in the Monster Energy Cup Series and XFINITY Series. The Red Sox Foundation is the official team charity of the Boston Red Sox. The Foundation’s primary focus is in serving the health, education, recreation, and social service needs of children and families in need across New England by harnessing the passion fans have for the Red Sox and transforming it into a vehicle for positive change in the New England community.

A Worcester, Massachusetts native, McGrail graduated from Northeastern University and earned an M.B.A. from Boston University.  He began his career at Continental Cablevision before joining NESN’s Marketing Department in 1985.

Larry Meyers, Pac-12 Networks, EVP, Content

Larry Meyers joined Pac-12 Networks in San Francisco as EVP, content in March, 2018 after serving as VP, content and executive producer for Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) Regional Networks in Southern California. At Pac-12 he is responsible for the 850 live events delivered via MVPD and authenticated TV Everywhere platforms, plus hundreds more of university-created streamed events available on the Pac-12 Plus platform. Meyers is also responsible for the newly combined “Editorial” Team at Pac-12; a content creation group joining previously separated groups such as Studio, Digital, Original Content and Post-Production into a unified short-form (digital) and long-form (live studio and original content) organization. While at Spectrum SportsNet, the networks garnered 26 team and individual LA area Emmy awards in their first four years from launch. Meyers also received Emmys for his work at the RSN in San Francisco and a national Emmy for his work covering the 1988 Seoul Olympics for NBC.

Previously, Meyers spent nine years at the Tennis Channel as the SVP of production and executive producer. In that role, he was responsible for the channel’s original programming, as well as national and international live events. Prior to that, Meyers spent seven years at Fox, working in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. He began his career in sports television in the 1980s working in TV trucks producing and directing regional and national live sports event programming. Over the years, Meyers transitioned to a production executive.

Meyers is originally from Oakland, CA and graduated from UCLA. He served as the executive program director of SVG’s 2017 RSN Summit.

Ken Miller, Altitude Sports and Entertainment, EVP and General Manager/Executive Producer

Ken Miller joined Altitude Sports and Entertainment in January 2016 overseeing all aspects of game and show productions for the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth, and Colorado Rapids. In his expanded role as EVP and general manager/executive producer, Miller continues his duties overseeing all game and show productions, as well as overseeing the television network as a whole.

Prior to Altitude, Miller spent 12 years as VP and executive producer for Fox Sports/Root Sports. He joined Altitude with over 25 years of experience in the production industry and has been recognized as one of the industry’s best, winning 17 regional Emmy Awards and one National Cable Ace Award for producing/directing. 

Miller was born and raised in Denver, CO and attended John F. Kennedy High School. He graduated from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

Brian Mitchell, AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, Executive Producer

As executive producer of AT&T SportNet Rocky Mountain, Brian Mitchell is in charge of all live event production including Colorado Rockies, Las Vegas Golden Knights, Utah Jazz, and Mountain West Conference college football and basketball. He oversees all aspects of production for over 300 live events annually (MLB, NBA, NHL CFB, CBK) and manages a 20-person production and engineering staff.

Prior to his current role, Mitchell served as coordinating producer at Root Sports Southwest, executive producer at the Mtn. Sports Network, and director of broadcasting for the Denver Broncos & Sports Authority Field at Mile High. He also served roles at Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain and Fox Sports Net West.

Shawn Oleksiak, NBC Sports Philadelphia, VP/Executive Producer, Live Events

Shawn Oleksiak currently oversees all aspects of live event production for NBC Sports Philadelphia and NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus. This includes games and pre/post studio coverage of Flyers Hockey, 76ers Basketball, and Phillies Baseball, plus college and high school sports. Among his special projects, Oleksiak most cherishes the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Parade and the Phillies 2008 World Series Championship Parade. He was promoted to VP in 2014 after serving as executive producer since 2008.

From 1999 to 2007, Oleksiak served as executive producer and senior director of broadcasting for the Philadelphia 76ers, overseeing all aspects of the team’s radio and television production. He also served on the NBA’s Broadcast Advisory Committee. Oleksiak’s career began in 1986, interning for Prism Television in Philadelphia. Upon graduating Cum Laude from Temple University in 1987, Oleksiak worked simultaneously for Prism, Philadelphia Park, and WCAU-TV (CBS), covering the Phillies, Flyers, and 76ers, as well as horse racing, college football, college basketball, and boxing. He produced the Sunday Night Sport’s Final and Eagles Warm-up/Wrap-up shows. In 1994, Oleksiak became producer of 76ers Basketball at Prism. In 1997, he was part of Comcast SportsNet’s launch, producing 76ers telecasts and Daily News Live.

Oleksiak’s 31-year career spans the medium: intern, editor, cameraman, writer, studio producer, event producer, director, reporter, and executive producer. He has received nearly 40 Mid-Atlantic Emmy Nominations and captured ten Emmy Awards. Oleksiak was honored with a Philadelphia Addy Award and is a member of Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater Hall of Fame.

Khalid Patterson, Spectrum Networks, Senior Manager, Remote Operations

Khalid Patterson works for Spectrum Networks in El Segundo, CA, managing remote operations for the Los Angeles Lakers and LA Galaxy broadcast properties. He joined Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable SportsNet) in 2013, having previously worked at ESPN and Fox Sports West.

Prior to his career in sports television, Patterson ran his own production company and co-wrote the book, You Mean, There’s Race in My Movie? He hails from Philadelphia and holds a degree in psychology from Stanford University.

Sassan Pejhan, AT&T Entertainment Group, Assistant VP

Sassan Pejhan has been actively involved in digital video processing and IP networks for the past 25 years. His experience includes academic and industrial research, commercial product design and development, developing and evaluating intellectual property, and advising senior management on technology strategies and product roadmaps.

Pejhan currently leads the Advanced Video Development Team at AT&T’s Entertainment Group. His team is responsible for the evaluation and development of new audio/video technologies and their integration into the DirecTV service offerings. He joined DirecTV in 2010, which was merged with AT&T in 2015.

Pejhan previously headed advanced video development at VBrick Systems, a developer of networked audiovisual appliances. Prior to that, he was the lead technologist at Sorceron, a developer of multimedia authoring and distribution software, and he spent four years at Sarnoff Corporation (formerly RCA Labs), where he developed MPEG-4 related multimedia authoring tools and video streaming applications. Pejhan also worked at Eastman Kodak, where he conducted R&D work on efficient image transmission over the Internet, and Citicorp, where he completed the 2-year Management Associate Development Program.

Pejhan holds doctorate and master degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology (London University).

Kyle Reischling, Pac-12 Networks, VP, Remote Events

Kyle Reischling has served as the vice president of remote events at Pac-12 Networks since April 2018. Prior to this role, he was the senior coordinating producer at Pac-12 Networks from 2012 – April 2018 and the coordinating producer of Fox Sports West & Prime Ticket from 2006 – 2012.

Lindsey Ross, FloSports, Director of Rights Acquisition

Lindsey Ross is currently the director of rights acquisition at FloSports and has more than 16 years of experience in college conferences and sports media. Her expertise spans creating and fostering relationships, generating new business opportunities to maximize viewership and revenue, coordinating media operations, and negotiating acquisitions and renewals. Prior to joining FloSports, Ross worked for ESPN as manager of programming and acquisitions, where she managed and coordinated the construction of the men’s and women’s college basketball schedules across all ESPN networks and platforms totaling more than 3,800 games. In addition, she previously worked for Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Conference USA, University of Miami, and Florida Atlantic University. 

Chris Schlosser, MLS Digital, SVP and GM

Chris Schlosser is an experienced digital leader who creates innovative strategies and products for North American sports fans. Schlosser runs the digital business for Major League Soccer (MLS), overseeing digital strategy, content creation, and product development. Through Schlosser’s leadership, MLS has experienced significant growth in digital revenue and audience size over the past five years. In recognition of his efforts, Schlosser was named to Sports Business Journal’s 2016 “Forty Under 40” class.

Under his guidance, MLS Digital experienced a landmark year in 2015, launching modern, responsive websites for the league and all 20 clubs; driving innovation and reach across core social media platforms, products, and properties; developing a robust and integrated content programming strategy; and delivering financial success with record advertising revenue and digital-product subscriptions.

Prior to joining MLS, Schlosser worked at Microsoft where he helped develop advertising sales strategies in markets around the world. Additionally, Schlosser worked with many of Microsoft’s largest advertising partners to deliver digital marketing campaigns across MSN’s product suite.

Andrew Schnell, Stadium, Managing Director, Corporate Development

Andrew Schnell is the managing director, corporate development for Stadium. In his role, Schnell is responsible for the company’s strategic growth and market positioning. He has led Stadium’s partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group, negotiated live rights deals for over 3,000 annual live events, and developed key corporate partnerships.

Prior to Stadium, Schnell held a variety of investment banking and corporate strategy and development roles in the technology industry.
Schnell graduated undergrad from Stanford and also received his M.B.A. from Stanford Business School. He was a member of the swim team, where he was an NCAA Champion and former American record holder.

Jon Slobotkin, NBC Sports Regional Networks, SVP, Content and Live Programming; RSN Summit Chair

Jon Slobotkin was named the SVP of content and live programming at NBC Sports Regional Networks in February 2017. In this role, he is responsible for all game, studio, and multi-platform programming for all live content across NBC Sports Regional Networks. He is charged with ensuring a consistent philosophy and production quality for programming on all platforms across the group.

Most recently, Slobotkin served as VP and executive producer of live events, where he oversaw all aspects of live event coverage for the NBC Regional Sports Networks. He also served as a producer for women’s basketball at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Previously, Slobotkin also served as a producer at Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, primarily covering the Philadelphia Phillies. Before SportsNet Philadelphia, Slobotkin worked as a producer for 15 years at PRISM TV.

Slobotkin is a six-time Mid-Atlantic Region Emmy Award Winner. He is a graduate of Temple University and a member of its School of Communications Hall of Fame. Slobtkin is serving as chair for the 2018 RSN Summit.

Jared Stacy, Spectrum Networks, VP, Production and Strategy

Jared Stacy is vice president of production and strategy for Spectrum Networks, the series of 24/7 news and sports networks owned and operated by Charter Communications. Stacy oversees production and strategy for Charter’s regional sports networks in Los Angeles and Hawaii.

Stacy joined Time Warner Cable in 2012 as coordinating producer and was elevated to his current role after Charter’s transactions with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks were completed in 2016. Stacy helped build the Remote Production Department in anticipation of the launch of Spectrum SportsNet (previously Time Warner Cable SportsNet), as the exclusive home of the Los Angeles Lakers. In 2014, he was part of the strategic leadership team that launched SportsNet LA, the new 24/7 home of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Earlier in his career, Stacy spent a decade in remote production leadership roles working on both Lakers and Dodgers broadcasts, as well as collegiate events for Fox Sports and ESPN.

Stacy received a B.A. in economics from Stanford University.

Kevin Sullivan, YES Network, Managing Editor, YESNetwork.com

Kevin Sullivan joined the YES Network, the most-watched regional sports network in the country 13 out of the last 15 years, in 2008 as managing editor of YESNetwork.com. In this role, he is responsible for all of the website’s content and the management of the company’s social media strategy.

Since joining YES, Sullivan’s responsibilities and influence have grown dramatically. YES’ digital initiative, which started out as a single website back in 2002, has grown into an expansive, multi-platform juggernaut which has taken full advantage of the interactive nature of the burgeoning social media landscape. Under Sullivan’s stewardship, YESNetwork.com has won two New York Emmy Awards and has been named top regional/local website by CableFAX in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017. He has helped transform YES into a company which produces platform-agnostic content on par with that of its national brethren. CableFAX named Sullivan Web Content Director of the Year in 2011, 2014, and 2016.

Sullivan has spearheaded the integration of interactive features into the YES Network’s Emmy Award-winning television programming and has overseen the production of thousands of original digital-exclusive videos each year. YES has been a leader among sports entities in the use of Facebook Live.

Sullivan arrived at YES from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he had worked since 1998, most recently as director of content development. In that position, he oversaw all WWE.com content and created the site’s broadband channel and subscription library. Sullivan also managed all WWE.com content-related sales projects, implemented numerous online marketing campaigns, and oversaw all content-related site redesigns. He also oversaw WWE Mobile, the site’s wireless business, where he was responsible for daily video shows and SMS alerts.

Sullivan has authored more than a dozen books, two of which have landed on The New York Times bestsellers list. He received a B.A. from Fairfield University, majoring in mass communication.

Jason Taubman, Game Creek Video, SVP, Technology

Jason Taubman spearheads Game Creek Video’s innovative efforts in truck design and helps service the company’s vast profile of high-profile sports clients including ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX, HBO, NBC, MLB, NBA, YES Network, USA Network, NFL Network, and Winnercomm. Prior to joining Game Creek in 1999, Taubman was an engineer-in-charge for National Mobile Television and VTE Mobile Television Productions.

Bob Valinski, Vizrt, Sales Manager

Bob Valinski is Vizrt’s sales manager, covering the Northeast U.S. and Canada regions. He has extensive experience in broadcast production workflows and was one of the key people to bring the first production automation system to market almost 20 years ago. Valinski’s focus is on workflows for high-end graphics and augmented reality, as well as production automation and MAM systems.

Per von Rosen, Sportradar, Product Manager, Broadcast

Per von Rosen started out in broadcast in 2006 as a graphics operator for then Swedish broadcaster Canal+, now Cmore. After multiple years in trucks around the world, in addition to hundreds of events and numerous production tools later as an employee of NEP Productions, von Rosen moved to Chyronhego to make player tracking relevant to broadcasters both as a production-tool, but also as a storytelling element.

After successfully partnering with Major League Baseball Advanced Media to get Statcast on-air for Fox, Turner, and MLB Network, von Rosen moved to Sportradar in 2017. He wanted to take on the challenge of leveraging their AI capabilities together with current market-leading production tools to make the rich data portfolio of Sportradar available to broadcasters around the world.

Michael Wargo, NBC Sports Regional Networks, Senior Director of Multi-Platform Content

Michael Wargo is senior director of multi-platform content at NBC Sports Group. In this role, he oversees multi-platform strategy and content for NBC Sports Group’s regional networks. Wargo works closely with each NBC Sports Regional Network, as well as NBC Sports Digital to best serve content across all digital and social platforms to sports fans in each market.

Prior to joining NBC Sports Group in Stamford, CT, Wargo served as the director of digital media for NBC Sports Washington, formerly known as Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. Wargo also worked for Fox Sports Florida as a digital content manager and senior editor/producer from December 2004 through October 2009, launching and overseeing the daily operation of their website, while directing a team of writers, producers, graphic artists, and editorial assistants.

Wargo graduated from Penn State University with a degree in film and video.

Jérôme Wauthoz, Tedial, VP, Products

Jérôme Wauthoz joined Tedial in 2017 as vice president, products, following more than 22 years at EVS Broadcast Equipment. He has a deep understanding of live production workflows and extensive experience analyzing customer needs across global markets. He launched his career at EVS as a software engineer and subsequently held management-level positions, including R&D manager, product manager, and market solutions manager. Prior to joining Tedial, Wauthoz served as vice president of products, responsible for overseeing the team tasked with developing the company’s next-generation solutions. Wauthoz holds a master’s degree in engineering in electro-mechanics from Liège University, Belgium where he also served as an assistant teacher.
