Jacqueline McWilliams, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), Commissioner

Jacqie McWilliams is in her 9th season of serving as the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) commissioner. She was the first female to serve as commissioner for the CIAA and first appointed African American commissioner representing NCAA Division I, II and III.

McWilliams spent nine years at the NCAA managing NCAA championships to include both Division II and III Championships, as well as both the men’s and women’s Division I Basketball tournaments. She started her career in coaching, compliance, and administration at Virginia Union University with career growth opportunities at the CIAA, Norfolk State University, and Morgan State University prior to the NCAA.

McWilliams earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Hampton University and a Master of Arts in sports management and administration from Temple University. She was a two-sport athlete at Hampton. McWilliams was a member of the Hampton University 1988 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Championship team, Freshmen player of the year in 1988, and player of the year for CIAA Volleyball in 1990. She was selected as a member of the 2013 class for “Women in Sports Business Journal Game Changer.” McWilliams was also inducted into the Hampton University Hall of Fame, Temple University’s Gallery of Success, and the Sierra High School Hall of Fame.

McWilliams is the past president for Women Leaders in College Sports (2019 – 2020) and current member of the board. She serves on the board of directors for the John B. McLendon Scholarship Foundation Board, Samaritan’s Feet International, Doug Williams Center Advisory Board, Return of Inclusion Advisory Board, and the NCAA Gender Equity Task Force. Additionally, she served as the chair of the NCAA DII Management Council, and as a member of the NCAA Board of Governors and NCAA Cultural Diversity Committee. McWilliams has received numerous awards for her leadership and contributions to the community.

McWilliams is a woman of faith, a motivational speaker, and an active member of the CharlotteCrown Jewels Links Chapter of Charlotte and Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Temple (VA).

Kim Beauvais, Fox, SVP, Human Resources and Business Operations

Kim Beauvais serves as the senior vice president of human resources and business operations. As a 14-year veteran of the Fox Sports family, Beauvais oversees all employee initiatives, and operations related to the infrastructure of the business, facilities, policies, and organizational agility. With a diverse background in HR and operations, her business and leadership acumen is only exceeded by her commitment to making others better. Beauvais has been instrumental in the creation and execution of all COVID protocols and strategies to get sports back on the air and technicians back to work.

Previously, Beauvais served as senior vice president, human resources and business operations for the Big Ten Network (BTN), and was part of the original management team when the network launched in 2007. In 2016, Beauvais was named to the prestigious SportsBusiness Journal’s “Forty Under 40” list and also was responsible for BTN to be named to Brill Street’s Top Chicago companies for Gen Y.

Prior to joining FOX, Beauvais served as HR business partner for Anschutz Entertainment Group’s (AEG) sports division where she led day-to-day responsibilities for the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer team and Toyota Park. Her sports experience extends to being part of the team that opened The Home Depot Center and Toyota Park, as well as working in the front office for the Milwaukee Bucks.

A Wisconsin native, Beauvais received her bachelor’s degree in sports administration and a master’s degree in sports Marketing, both from Valparaiso University.

Harold Bryant, CBS Sports, Executive Producer and Executive Vice President, Production

Harold Bryant was promoted to executive producer and executive vice president, production in January 2021. He previously served as executive producer and senior vice president, production since June 2014 after having been named executive producer and vice president, production in August 2011. He was vice president, production since June 2008.

Bryant oversees all creative aspects of production and editorial content for all sports programming at CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network, including Super Bowl LV; Super Bowl LIII; Super Bowl 50, the most-watched single broadcast in television history on an all-or-part basis; Super Bowl XLIV in 2010, the most-watched program in television history at the time; and Super Bowl XLVII. Bryant also oversees production for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, the Masters, PGA Championship, PGA TOUR golf, and the Emmy Award-winning show Inside the NFL on Showtime.

Bryant, a 31-time Emmy Award-winner, joined CBS Sports as a feature producer/associate producer in June 1997. He was promoted to coordinating producer in March 1999 where his responsibilities included overseeing production elements involving The NFL on CBS, including Super Bowls XXXV, XXXVIII, and XLI; NCAA college basketball, including the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship; college football; PGA TOUR golf, including the Masters and PGA Championship; the U.S. Open Tennis Championships; and all additional programming, including CBS Sports Spectacular.

In addition to his duties at CBS Sports, Bryant works closely with production efforts at Showtime, CBSSports.com, and CBS Sports HQ.

Prior to joining CBS Sports, Bryant served as a producer for WBIS-TV producing halftime and post-game shows for New York Knicks, New York Rangers, and New Jersey Devils games, as well as sports features and updates for the network’s business shows. He worked three years as a feature producer producing over 100 features for Atlanta Olympic Broadcasting, the host broadcaster for the 1996 Olympic Summer Games (1994 – 1996). From 1991 – 1994, Bryant served as a production assistant at NBC Sports where he worked three seasons of NFL and NBA, as well as the 1992 Olympic Summer Games in Barcelona, Spain. While at NBC Sports, he also worked on events including the world figure skating championships in Prague, the French Open, and Notre Dame football.

Bryant began his career in 1987 working for WWOR-TV as a news and sports production assistant for all New York Mets home games. In 1990, he served as a line producer for the start-up sports network, Sports News Network.

Bryant graduated from Rutgers University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre arts and a concentration in television.

Ken Kerschbaumer, SVG, Co-Executive Director, Editorial

Ken Kerschbaumer is co-executive director of editorial services for the Sports Video Group and SVG Europe. He was a co-founder of SVG along with Paul Gallo and Marty Porter in 2005 and has been writing about how sports networks and leagues use video and audio technology to deliver a quality TV experience since 1991. Kerschbaumer began his career in 1991 at Television Broadcast magazine before joining Cahners where he was founding editor of Digital Broadcasting magazine. In 2000, he joined Broadcasting & Cable magazine as senior editor of technology where he covered all aspects of broadcasting, cable, and internet content creation and distribution.

Brad Kogut, WWE, VP, Head of Global Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion

Brad Kogut is the vice president of global corporate talent acquisition, diversity, and inclusion for WWE. In this role, Kogut is responsible for leading all recruiting efforts of corporate employees across the company, as well as championing WWE’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

Prior to WWE, Kogut worked for Gartner, The Madison Square Garden Company, and Starwood Hotels. He was responsible for building diversity programming within each of these organizations.

Living in Norwalk, CT and originally from Buffalo, NY, Kogut has a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Bowling Green State University.

Ndidi Massay, CBS Sports, Senior Director of Workplace Culture and Diversity Initiatives

In her role as senior director of workplace culture and diversity initiatives for CBS Sports, Ndidi Massay drives the strategic planning, development, execution, and measurement of CBS Sports’ initiatives for a more diverse and inclusive workplace. Among her responsibilities is developing and executing tailored strategies, programs, and experiences that cultivate an inclusive culture and promote real transformation within CBS Sports. Massay also works with the ViacomCBS Office of Global Inclusion to align CBS Sports’ initiatives with corporate DEI efforts.

Massay joined CBS Sports after running her own consulting business where she provided diversity, equity and inclusion counsel, services, and training to corporate entities, national governing bodies, and collegiate athletic departments. She also served as the commissioner of the New York State Athletic Commission since 2016, where she set and regulated policies that govern professional combat sports to ensure safe and fair play throughout the state. Before joining the NYSAC, Massay helped launch the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality, a nonprofit that works to improve race relations throughout sports by promoting understanding, respect, and equality. Prior to RISE, Massay was a diversity and inclusion consultant for the NFL where she advised senior management on diversity and inclusion trends, best practices, and talent engagement strategies.

Massay spent time as director of business affairs for ABC News and director of business operations and development for ESPN. Earlier in her career, she specialized in sports and entertainment law and diversity and inclusion matters as an attorney.

Currently a member of the USA Wrestling Diversity & Inclusion Committee and Big Ten Conference Equality Coalition, Massay has served on numerous boards, including the National Association of Black Journalists Sports, RISE, and Beat the Streets New York. She is also a member of the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association and Women in Sports and Events.

Raymond B. Smaltz III, Raysun Productions, President

Throughout his almost 40 year career in the sports television industry, Ray Smaltz has honed his skills across the globe producing and directing professional, collegiate, and amateur athletic events for a multitude of broadcast and cable networks, as well as for pay-per-view.

He navigated a near 20-season run of producing professional football for the NFL on Fox, as well as led the coordination and overall production of three nationally televised World Bowls overseas for NFL Europe. Smaltz has continued his involvement with the league for the past decade as a “faculty advisor” for the mentoring program for aspiring football and social media talent dubbed, NFL Broadcast Boot Camp.

Smaltz’s vast experience has allowed him to produce regular season and conference championship college basketball for CBS and ESPN; Pro Beach Volleyball for NBC; Prime Sports and Prime Ticket; and foreign and domestic world class track and field competitions for CBS, ESPN, NBC, Turner Sports and other international broadcasters. He was the coordinating producer for Telemundo of the 1995 Pan American Games coverage from Mar Del Plata, Argentina, which was nominated for an Emmy for “Outstanding Live Production,” a first for the Spanish-language network.

Combat sports has been a constant source of accomplishment for this broadcast veteran, highlighted by his involvement with mixed martial arts leagues such as EliteXC, Strikeforce, and the Professional Fighters League (PFL). Smaltz’s experience in the world of boxing is rivaled by few and spans four decades, highlighted by his producing events for DAZN, EpixHD, ESPN, CBS, NBC, HBO, and longtime client, Showtime Championship Boxing. In his career, Smaltz has been there for the production of such contests as Leonard-Hearns II, Chavez-Haugen, Holyfield-Tyson I & II, Corrales-Castillo, multiple Marquez-Vazquez bouts, Mayweather-Canelo, Tyson-Lewis, Joshua-Klitschko, Wilder-Fury I, and the highest grossing boxing pay-per-view event in history in 2015, Mayweather-Pacquiao.

Smaltz has garnered four Emmy Awards in 1988, 1992, 2002, and 2004 for “Best Live & Edited” Olympic coverage. He also was a three-time Telly Award winner in 1993, 1994, and 1996 for “Best Music Video” and “Best Production & Graphics – Foot Locker Slam Fest In-Store Video.” He received a NATAS Award in 2005 for his production of the NFL’S Seattle Seahawks Pre-Season Football. Finally, Smaltz was awarded the prestigious Olympic Golden Rings (Silver Category) in 1996 from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for his production of weightlifting for the Atlanta Committee Of The Olympic Games (ACOG).

Smaltz has been a speaker at many collegiate, banquet, and awards events and is currently in production to co-host a topical podcast featuring a collective of well-known professionals from the sports, entertainment, medical, and scholastic fields. He resides in the Orange County area of New York State.

Oris Stuart, NBA, Chief People and Inclusion Officer

As chief people and inclusion officer at the National Basketball Association, Oris Stuart is responsible for leading the combined Human Resources and Diversity and Inclusion groups.  He oversees diversity and inclusion strategies for the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League and NBA 2K League and its teams, supports the growth and development of the NBA’s global workforce, and strengthens commitments to attract, retain, develop, and engage diverse talent.

With a focus on people, culture, inclusion, and innovation, Stuart aims to establish policies and expand programs to increase the representation of people of color and women in leadership roles and positions across the league. He leads the NBA’s Global Inclusion Council and efforts to grow the league’s network of Black-, women- and diverse-owned suppliers. Stuart also works closely with senior leadership to enable, empower, and develop employees in 13 U.S. and international offices.

Stuart joined the NBA in June 2015 and was named the league’s first chief people and inclusion officer in 2020,

Stuart has 20 years of experience as a business executive in diversity and inclusion and talent management fields. Prior to the NBA, Stuart spent two years as a senior partner with Korn Ferry, an executive search and talent management firm, where he led its Inclusion and Diversity practice. Previously, Stuart served as the chief executive officer for Global Novations, the world’s leading provider of diversity and inclusion consulting and training solutions. During his tenure with Global Novations, Stuart supported clients across Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America; guided the expansion of the firm’s technology and consulting platforms; and led its ultimate acquisition by Korn Ferry in 2012.

Stuart graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in electrical engineering and holds an MBA from Duke University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Black MBA Association and is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, a national organization that empowers African-American corporate leaders to make significant and impactful contributions in the global marketplace and their communities.
