Minty Bets, Yahoo Sports, Lead Betting Reporter and Analyst

Minty Bets is Yahoo Sports’ lead betting reporter and analyst. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, a world where sports betting is a way of life. Bets entered the space in 2018 when she joined the media company Wager Talk as a betting host. Since then she has generated a very large audience on social media by creating both original and relatable betting content. Bets loves sports, flowers, and all types of dogs. Scott Clark, ESPN, Senior Coordinating Producer – Sports Betting & Fantasy Sports

Scott Clark, who joined ESPN in 1999, oversees ESPN’s fantasy sports and sports betting programs, a position he assumed in 2019. He oversaw the launch of ESPN’s daily sports betting news and information program Daily Wager in 2019.

Clark started at ESPN in June of 1999 as a production assistant, shortly after he graduated from Cornell University. As a production assistant and associate producer, he worked on the ESPN programs Baseball Tonight and SportsCenter. After moving to a highlight supervisor position, he was promoted to producer in 2005.

As a producer, his main assignments were the 11 p.m. ET edition of SportsCenter and Monday Night Countdown, including Monday Night Football halftime.

Clark was coordinating producer in ESPN’s NFL group from 2012 to 2014 before moving to SportsCenter in 2015, eventually becoming a senior coordinating producer in 2016. He oversaw the launch of SportsCenter:AM and the revamped ESPN morning lineup in February of 2016. During his time on SportsCenter, he worked on all daytime editions of the show, as well as the 6 p.m. program.

While in college, Clark served internships at WRC-TV in Washington, D.C., working on the iconic George Michael Sports Machine program, and at NBC Sports.

Clark is a native of Westfield, N.J.

Brandon Costa, SVG, Director of Digital

Brandon Costa covers the sports video production industry with a focus on live streaming, over-the-top (OTT), social media, and other digital distribution technologies and platforms. He also directs SVG’s internal digital strategies launching the company’s video outfit, ‘SVG On Demand,’ designing and overseeing its mobile application, ‘SVG Mobile,’ and serving as executive producer and host of The SVG Podcast. Costa serves as program director of networking events serving the SVG College and SVG Digital communities. Prior to his time at SVG, Costa spent five years producing digital content for MLB Advanced Media.

Sarah Crennan, Yahoo Sports, VP and Head of Content

Sarah Crennan is the VP and head of content for Yahoo Sports where she is living her passions for both sports and digital content. She leads the video, editorial, and social teams at Yahoo Sports in shaping the content strategy and partners closely with teams across Verizon to realize that vision through partnerships, monetization, and tech. Named to the inaugural “Crain’s Notable Women in the Business of Sports” in 2019, Crennan continues to develop innovative ways to match sports storytelling to shifting audience behaviors.

Prior to her role with Yahoo Sports, Crennan was the senior director of content partnerships and business development at AOL where she oversaw the strategy and ongoing management for premium content partners. She also held positions at AOL as director of marketing for AOL Video, where she oversaw the annual Newfront event, and chief of staff to AOL’s CEO.

Crennan is a passionate women’s lacrosse fan, having played at her alma mater, Georgetown University. She currently remains active with the sport as an on-air analyst for women’s lacrosse games, having covered games for CBS Sports, ESPN, and NCAA. Crennan is an active member of the Hashtag Sports Diversity & Inclusion Committee and spends a lot of time advocating for gender equality and increasing visibility of diverse talent in sports media. Born and raised in Annapolis, MD, Crennan now resides outside of New York City.

Jason Dachman, SVG, Chief Editor

Jason Dachman oversees all aspects of SVG’s North American editorial operations, including the thrice-weekly SVG Insider newsletter and SVG’s annual print publications. A member of the SVG team since 2009, Dachman also serves as program director for SVG’s RSN Summit, Sports Content Management Forum, Sports Graphics Forum, and TranSPORT event. Prior to joining SVG, he spent three years covering local sports for The Patriot Ledger in Quincy, MA, and two years on the production staff of SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s The Ron & Fez Show. Dachman began his career in the Sports Information Department at Northeastern University in Boston, where he also earned a B.A. in media communications and cinema studies.

Mike Denevi, B/R Betting, Director of Brand Strategy

Mike Denevi is the director of brand strategy at B/R Betting. He’s been with Bleacher Report in a variety of roles since he graduated from the University of Oregon in 2012, including overseeing the launch of B/R’s pro football brand @BRGridiron. When Denevi is not setting content and programming strategy for B/R, he’s chronicling his (mostly losing) bets for his podcast and social media betting culture brand @LockyTown.

Todd Erdley, Videon, President, Founder, Chairperson

Todd Erdley is the founder and continued vision behind Videon’s groundbreaking advances in video technologies. Erdley’s leadership has propelled the company to the forefront of video encoding and streaming products that enable prosumers and professionals to create transformative solutions that are rapidly driving and simplifying the movement of media from any source to any screen.

Eric Hanson, PGA TOUR, Senior Director of Product Development

Eric Hanson is the senior director of product development at the PGA TOUR. He leads the team that builds and optimizes digital products for the TOUR’s fan-facing digital platforms, including PGATOUR.com and mobile apps for iOS and Android. Some of his most recent work includes the TOURCast, the PGA TOUR’s 3D shot visualization and video highlights tool and integration of live betting odds into the TOUR’s digital platforms. Prior to joining the PGA TOUR digital team, Hanson led product teams focused on mobile apps development, eCommerce, digital advertising, and brand marketing.

Kristian Hernandez, SVG, Associate Editor and Social Media Manager

Kristian Hernandez handles day-to-day construction of the SVG Insider newsletter, oversees all social media content distribution, and covers various sports technology topics for Sports Video Group. In addition, he is the program director for the annual SVG Venue Summit and the Teams Summit.

Before joining SVG, Hernandez served as co-founder of CHC-TV, the first student-run television studio at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. While at CHC, Hernandez produced a daily sports show named “On the Hill with Hernandez” — covering all men’s and women’s athletics for the college. Also, Hernandez spearheaded the college’s newspaper, “The Griffin”, as its sports editor. Hernandez graduated with a B.A. in communications. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he currently lives in Queens, NY.

Ken Kerschbaumer, SVG, Co-Executive Director, Editorial

Ken Kerschbaumer is co-executive director of editorial services for the Sports Video Group and SVG Europe. He was a co-founder of SVG along with Paul Gallo and Marty Porter in 2005 and has been writing about how sports networks and leagues use video and audio technology to deliver a quality TV experience since 1991. Kerschbaumer began his career in 1991 at Television Broadcast magazine before joining Cahners where he was founding editor of Digital Broadcasting magazine. In 2000, he joined Broadcasting & Cable magazine as senior editor of technology where he covered all aspects of broadcasting, cable, and internet content creation and distribution.

Kevin Marotta, MSG Networks, SVP of Marketing and Content Strategy

Kevin Marotta is an innovator in the television industry, an accomplished and respected executive and a true visionary in today’s ever-changing media world. He currently serves as senior vice president of marketing and content strategy at MSG Networks, where he is responsible for all on-air and off-air marketing and promotional activities, as well as the development, integration, and implementation of cross-platform content strategies.

Over the last few years, Marotta has significantly elevated the quality of MSG Networks’ original programming and built out internal branded content capabilities that have helped drive non-ratings-based ad-sales revenue growth. He has successfully launched new shows and documentary series, as well as forged partnerships with top digital companies such as Uninterrupted, Overtime, SLAM, and Complex.

In his current role, Marotta continues to evolve the network’s sports betting programming as he looks to further serve the growing sports betting market. He was also integral in the creation of MSG Shorts, which features both original and acquired short-form content, as well as the network’s overall shift to non-traditional lengths of content, becoming the first regional sports network to fully embrace short form content on its linear product.

Marotta’s unique and creative storytelling approach has undoubtedly made him a gamechanger in the industry and the network continues to garner recognition for its programming excellence. In April, the overall network was awarded with 10 New York Emmy Awards, which honors excellence in television and advanced media.

Prior to joining MSG Networks, Marotta served as vice president of client partnerships at LeadDog Marketing Group, where he led all business development efforts for the integrated marketing agency, from creative oversight and concept development to building new client relationships. In his three years there, he helped grow LeadDog’s of-record business in the sports space, including driving new business wins with Audi (sports & experiential AOR), MD Anderson (sports AOR), Jabra (sports AOR), NFLPA (marketing & experiential AOR), and USGA. In 2016, Marotta helped lead the team at LeadDog to a win as “Best in Sports and Experiential Marketing” at SportsBusiness Journal’s award ceremony.

Before working at LeadDog, Marotta spent eight years at The Madison Square Garden Company in numerous roles, most recently as vice president of media strategy. He led the creative execution of the transformation of Madison Square Garden, including bringing the Garden’s 100+ years of history to life throughout the Arena, as well as integrating brands such as Chase, Lexus, and Budweiser into the fabric of the building.

Marotta graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in economics and received his M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business. He lives in New Jersey.

Sam Richmond, B/R Betting, Manager of Social Programming

Sam Richmond is the manager of social programming at B/R Betting. He’s been with Bleacher Report since 2015 after graduating from the University of Missouri and helped launch the B/R Betting brand in 2018. Richmond’s favorite sport to bet is MLB and the biggest bet he ever won was on the Patriots’ 28-3 Super Bowl comeback.

Per von Rosen, Sportradar, Product Director, Broadcast Solutions

Per von Rosen started out in broadcast in 2006 as a graphics operator for then Swedish broadcaster Canal+, now Cmore. After multiple years in trucks around the world, in addition to hundreds of events and numerous production tools later as an employee of NEP Productions, von Rosen moved to Chyronhego to make player tracking relevant to broadcasters both as a production-tool, but also as a storytelling element.

After successfully partnering with Major League Baseball Advanced Media to get Statcast on-air for Fox, Turner, and MLB Network, von Rosen moved to Sportradar in 2017. At Sportradar, von Rosen works with Sportradar’s broadcast products such as multi-sport data packages for graphics and Radar360 (Sportradar’s multi-sport research tool). He also works with Sportradar’s research team that currently supports 5,000+ live broadcast per year with both in-game research support and pre-game research packages.
