BTN’s Elizabeth Conlisk Addresses Women’s Sports Media Initiative at College Sports Summit

Last week, SVG hosted a meeting of the Women’s Sports Media Initiative in Atlanta, inviting attendees of the College Sports Summit to stop by, network, and listen to the meeting’s keynote speaker, Big Ten Network’s Elizabeth Conlisk.

As VP of communications, Conlisk develops and leads strategic communications for BTN while managing relationships between the network and the 12 Big Ten universities. Prior to her role there, she served as special assistant to the president of Ohio State and spent more than 20 years in public relations.

WSMI Hi ResConlisk addressed more than 20 women, from college students to industry veterans, about a wide range of topics, including her own experiences in the industry, her thoughts on the expanding role of technology, and more.

WSMI is a networking group that aims to enhance the role of women in the creation, production, and distribution of sports content. Focused on the business and technology behind sports production, members work for sports leagues, teams, television networks, technology companies, and startups.
