Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion
Prior to the 2012-13 basketball season, Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion (formerly Alexander Memorial Coliseum) underwent a massive $45 million renovation, building an entirely new facility within the supporting steel frame and roof of the existing structure. At SVG’s College Sports Summit in Atlanta, Georgia Tech’s Director of Video Operations Andy Blanton led attendees on a tour of McCamish Pavilion and presented a case study on the renovation process, where he was joined by Anthony James Partners, Daktronics, CTG, Baker Audio, and Click Effects to discuss the project plans, construction process, and lessons learned.
