The Tokyo 2020 skateboarding courses are a culmination of the designs and experiences derived from a number of world championship and qualifying events. Each course will be considerably larger than a typical qualifying or world championship course but still small enough to allow athletes to take advantage of all obstacles during a typical run. Both the “Street” and “Park” courses have been designed with equality in mind for both regular and goofy stance skateboarders as well as all genders to compete on.
