New Sound Systems Help Sports Venues Expand Into Music

Sports-venue sound systems continue to adhere to a version of Deep Throat’s advice to reporters Woodward and Bernstein in the film All the President’s Men: instead of “Follow the money,” it’s “Follow the music.” The two sentiments may be intertwined, however, as stadiums and arenas increasingly seek to have rider-ready sound available, in the form of tour-sound systems, to support concerts and other events to help buttress revenues from sports teams.
