{"id":11657,"date":"2016-06-09T16:37:14","date_gmt":"2016-06-09T20:37:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.schubincafe.com\/?p=11657"},"modified":"2016-06-09T16:37:14","modified_gmt":"2016-06-09T20:37:14","slug":"bbc-unveils-vr-360-degree-video-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sportsvideo.org\/2016\/06\/09\/bbc-unveils-vr-360-degree-video-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"BBC Unveils VR, 360-Degree Video Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>HollywoodReporter.com<\/em> reports that the BBC is rolling out several 360-degree video and virtual reality projects, developed by the U.K. public broadcaster and partners, as it explores the potential and interest of the emerging medium for U.K. audiences.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the content will be showcased for the first time at the Sheffield\/Doc Fest starting on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are looking to work out what works and what doesn&#8217;t,&#8221; said Andy Conroy, the BBC&#8217;s controller, research and development. &#8220;Some of this is basic, entry-level [technology like 360 video].
