EVS Broadcast Equipment is further strengthening its
\noperations in the Middle East with the opening of a
\nDubai office this month. Located in the
\nStudio City, part of the state-of-the-art Dubai Media City, EVS Middle East
\nwill have a fully equipped demo and training centre showcasing a complete
\nintegration of EVS recording, editing and playout systems.<\/p>\n
EVS has a strong presence in the Middle
\nEast and its technologies are well-suited to the region’s frequent
\nmulti-camera live and near-live productions which include a vast array of
\ntelevised live sport events, mega concerts and religious festivals.<\/p>\n
Headed by Bruno Schmetz, Middle East Sales Manager from EVS
\nheadquarters in Li ge, the office will be supported by technical engineers and
\nsupport staff employed locally. Henry Alexander, EVS General Manager Europe, Middle East and Africa

\nover recent years. The company recently supplied all the live and near-live
\nproduction equipment for the Doha Asia Games; Jordan’s ART fleet of HD OB vans
\nare fully equipped with EVS’ non-linear editing systems; in Qatar, EVS supplied
\nsport production solutions for main broadcasters Al Kaas and Al Jazeerha Sport;
\nand EVS equipped Dubai TV with their first tapeless installation that allows
