RT Software Release Tactic v8.0 – Now With Team ID

RT Software announces the release of the latest version of their telestrator, Tactic Pro 8.0. The highlight of this release is the ‘Team ID’ feature, which automatically identifies the teams that players belong to with remarkable accuracy.

The ‘Team ID’ feature is the newest addition to Tactic Pro’s suite of AI-powered tools, enhancing the capabilities introduced by the highly successful ‘Player Detect’. ‘Player Detect’ streamlines the telestration process by automatically detecting players on the field. Users are able to work more efficiently and deliver sequences with highlight graphics more precisely attached to the players than when this is done manually.

Building on this, ‘Team ID’ offers improvements in workflow and accuracy by automatically identifying the teams of the players on the field. Users can then suggest the team formation being played, and Tactic Pro adds the appropriate graphics to the identified players. This process reduces the time required for operators to create detailed and insightful graphics sequences.

An additional benefit of ‘Team ID’ is the ‘Team Dimensions’ functionality, which visualizes the longest length, width, or overall shape of the team formations on the pitch. This can be further enhanced with automatic distance markers, providing users with comprehensive and customizable graphic options.
