We collect information from you when you register as a Member or Sponsor on our site or subscribe to our newsletter.
When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, contact information, company or industry affiliation, job or industry category, region or location, and other data relevant to serving your industry needs. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

- To enable us to communicate information about our conferences and events. To enable us to confirm your attendance at our conferences and events.

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your professional information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology ,which is encrypted and only made accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.
We never share anyone’s Username or Password, which you create to read SVG news, register for events, or utilize our SVG PLAY Video On Demand Platform.
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track movement, and gather demographic information for aggregate use.
Do we use Google Analytics?
Yes, we use all features of Google Analytics including obtaining specific visitor cookie data, such as the source, medium, and keyword used to visit our website. Google Analytics does not store any visitor specific data and we will not use visitor specific data in any way related to Google Analytics.
All registrants for SVG events must be pre-approved for attendance. Once approved, registrants may attend SVG events at no cost. As part of their registration, SVG Members and Sponsors agree to be part of the private SVG Connect Attendee Directory, which does not share your email address. You also agree to having your email addresses shared with event Sponsors who are instructed not to use this contact information for mass email distribution purposes.
Electronic Direct Mailings
All Subscribers to SVG news and SVG newsletters receive this service at no cost. As part of your subscription, SVG Members and Sponsors agree to receive occasional marketing communications from SVG and from SVG Sponsors. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive from us, or by contacting us at email@example.com.

SVG contains links to other websites. SVG will not be held responsible for the privacy practices of other business websites.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or supporting SVG and its activities, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
