Super Bowl LIX is the Most-Watched Super Bowl of All Time as FOX Sports Nets 127.7 Million Viewers
Ratings peaked in second quarter and during Halftime Show; Super Bowl LIX also sets live streaming record

After finalized data came in from Nielsen on Tuesday, FOX Sports shared that Super Bowl LIX garners 127.7 million viewers, making it the most watched Super Bowl of all time.
Total viewership was +3% over last year’s game. The figure is a total of viewers watching on television (FOX, FOX Deportes and Telemundo) and digital platforms (Tubi, NFL+, and other streaming properties).
“The power the NFL has to bring people together was on full display Sunday night and FOX Sports was honored to showcase every moment for football fans across America,” FOX Sports CEO and Executive Producer Eric Shanks said in the official release. “From the heart of New Orleans on Bourbon Street, to telling moving stories throughout the broadcast and finally presenting an unmatched game production, we couldn’t be prouder to show that FOX is Football with a Super Bowl viewing audience for the record books.”
The broadcast peaked at at 137.7 million viewers in the second quarter (8:00 PM – 8:15 PM ET), per Nielsen Media Research. The Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show drew an average of 133.5 million viewers across television and digital platforms from 8:30 PM – 8:45 PM ET (up +3% vs. 129.3 million viewers last year). That number makes Kendrick Lamar’s performance the most-watched Super Bowl halftime performance in history.
On the streaming front, as expected, Super Bowl LIX set a record for the largest Super Bowl streaming audience in history. An average minute audience of 14.5 million watched across Tubi, Telemundo, and NFL Digital properties, according to Tubi First Party and Adobe Analytics. On Tubi alone, an average minute audience of 13.6 million streamed the game. That’s +27% over last year’s game on a streaming platform and is +94% larger than the last time FOX streamed the Super Bowl two years ago.
The Spanish language audience was notable, as well, as an average audience of 1.87 million combined viewers tuned in on FOX Deportes and Telemundo.
