The Mountain Media Center Launches to Foster Broadcast Innovation

The Mountain Media Center announces the development the most progressive live production media center in the U.S. The facility provides a complete live production ecosystem in one location. Mountain Media will provide expanded operational space for Mobile TV Group, EVS, VID30, Colorado Arts Productions, ATEME, and more.

Mountain Media, located in the former Starz Encore building at 8900 Liberty Circle in Centennial, Colorado, offers tenants access to 315,000 square feet of broadcast-ready space. The facility features raised floors, generators, uninterruptible power supply, satellite dishes, studios, and other required broadcasting hardware, including four Dolby Atomos-certified audio rooms, ideal for clients looking for a secure, reliable, live-ready infrastructure. Beyond broadcast, there is a fitness center, racquetball courts, and the Mountain Media Cafe serves lunch daily.

The Mountain Media Center is the realization of the vision of founder Nick Garvin to create the premier destination for live broadcast excellence in the United States. The facility was designed and built with the specialized infrastructure that broadcast professionals demand — from redundant power systems and robust fiber connectivity to flexible technical spaces that can evolve with the industry. The facility has proven its ability to deliver live broadcasts to millions without fail. “Mountain Media’s goal is to establish itself as the definitive hub for live broadcast innovation, where the most advanced production capabilities meet leading technology solutions, and everyone is invited,” says Nick Garvin.

“VID30 is a new company providing the media control systems (playout & automation) for one of the largest streaming services in the world; as such, we are committed to providing the highest quality and most reliable viewing experiences,” says Brent Bieber, head of Media Control, VID30. “Mountain Media is our new headquarters, and provides us with the infrastructure, innovation and redundancies we need to create and effectively distribute the highest quality productions.”

“As the most progressive live production facility designer, builder and provider in the US, focusing on technology and engineering, Mobile TV Group plans to expand its operations, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver the industry standard in live production services,” says Peter Wehner, EVP of Technology Operations & Engineering, Mobile TV Group.

“Colorado Arts Productions and our subsidiary, Imagine Agency, are dedicated to the power of highly creative multimedia, and we’re excited to join Mountain Media Center to expand Colorado’s broadcast, film, and commercial production capabilities,” says Cory Brangoccio, CEO and founder, Colorado Arts Productions. “These state-of-the-art facilities, along with new, large studio capabilities, give us the resources we need to bring more ambitious, high-budget productions to our state.”

A remodel of The Mountain Media Center is currently underway, with completion expected this summer. The center will feature versatile production spaces, advanced technical facilities, and collaborative areas designed to foster innovation.

Located just south of Denver, Colorado, Mountain Media is centrally located within the U.S. with limited natural disasters and a large talent pool.
