FanDuel Sports Network To Deliver Selected Live NBA, NHL Games to Major Streaming Services for In-Market Viewers
Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, Prime will stream games; FDSN to launch 24/7 FAST channel in ’26
Story Highlights
In a notable move for both the regional sports network and streaming sectors, FanDuel Sports Network (FDSN) will launch a Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) initiative in mid-November, expanding access to select local NBA and NHL games for viewers in-market on major platforms like Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, and Prime Video.
This multi-phase FAST strategy marks a first in sports media, delivering local live-game access in a streaming-first environment.
“Launching this digital game offering is a big step in expanding our national reach and continuing to prioritize the different ways fans can watch their hometown teams,” said Eric Ratchman, Chief Revenue Officer, Main Street Sports Group, which operates FDSN.
The initiative builds on FanDuel Sports Network’s multiplatform growth and reflects its focus on redefining how hometown fans watch live sports. The network says that early audience data has been promising, reports that 10% of viewers of its free pregame shows have converted into paid subscribers.
Looking ahead, FanDuel Sports Network plans to launch a 24/7 FAST channel in 2026, serving as a national entry point for live games and original programming, including Golic & Golic and Countdown Live. The move positions FDSN as a leader in blending over-the-air reach with the flexibility and innovation of streaming distribution.
