PGA TOUR On the Road: How NEP Supports the TOUR’s Spectacular Centralized Facility with an On-Site Truck Compound
An IP-based infrastructure connects the building with a fleet of trucks at the golf course
Story Highlights
While the PGA TOUR is now a full year in producing live golf tournaments from its tremendous centralized PGA TOUR Studios production facility in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, an on-site production compound out at the golf course still plays a critical part in the operation each weekend.
NEP Group led the way in the integration of the PGA TOUR Studios facility, deploying its TFC (Total Facility Control) IP infrastructure to seamlessly connect the building with its fleet of 1080p HDR-capable trucks out at the course.
In this exclusive panel discussion, take a dive into the trucks that the PGA TOUR relies on week in and week out, and learn about their workflows, what it takes to produce the TOUR’s Every Shot Live product, and much more.
This discussion included:
- Dan Beard, PGA TOUR, VP, Remote Technical Operations
- Dan Murphy, NEP Group, VP, NEP Platform
- Dan Turk, NEP Americas, Chief Technology Officer
