Telemundo Surrounds 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Draw with Onsite Coverage from Washington, D.C.

Telemundo, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the FIFA World Cup 2026, will deliver comprehensive, all-day coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Draw live from Washington, D.C.

In addition to the LIVE presentation of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Draw on Dec. 5 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET on Telemundo, Universo and Peacock, the network will present multiplatform coverage across Telemundo’s sports, news, and entertainment programs, with all shows and talent broadcasting live from the nation’s capital complemented by in-studio programming throughout the day.

The team of commentators and hosts includes Andrés Cantor, Luis Omar Tapia, Miguel Gurwitz, Carlota Vizmanos, Copan Alvarez, Adriana Monsalve, Diego Balado, and José Luis Lopez Salido, joined by former Argentine international footballer Maxi Rodríguez, and former Uruguayan international player Diego Lugano, among other special guests, offering in-depth analysis, expert commentary, and exclusive interviews.

A Day of Wall-to-Wall Coverage from Washington, D.C.

Starting early at 10 a.m., ¡Ya Viene el Mundial! El Sorteo kicks off the daylong celebration with a live television event hosted by Carlos Adyan, sports journalist Lindsay Casinelli, Gabriel Coronel, and Chikybombon, igniting Latin America’s passion for football in the countdown to the FIFA World Cup Draw.

The special will feature musical performances from Fey, Marta Sánchez, La Original Banda Limón from Mexico, and La Mosca on the studio, alongside exclusive live reports from the FIFA venue with sports commentators Cantor and Tapia. Fans take center stage with moments from Mexico City and the Dallas FIFA Fan Fest, joined by athletes and personalities from the soccer world.

Telemundo will continue its coverage live from multiple locations across Washington, D.C., including the Kennedy Center. Noticias Telemundo anchor Julio Vaquerio will lead the network’s news coverage, offering context on the global significance of the event.
