Lawo Demos IP-Based Audio Production, Console and Network Training, and Immersive Audio at NAMM 2026
Story Highlights
At NAMM 2026 on Jan. 22-24 in Anaheim, Calif., Lawo will demonstrate how IP-based technologies and software-defined workflows are transforming professional audio production across houses of worship, performance venues, and stadiums.
At Booth 17306 in the North Hall, Lawo will present its scalable mc²56 mixing consoles alongside the HOME management platform and HOME Apps ecosystem — solutions designed to deliver unprecedented flexibility, efficiency, and integration for audio professionals.
Scalability from Front-End to Backend
Lawo’s mc² series demonstrates true scalability, offering the perfect fit for any production environment. From fully virtual software panels and compact mc² crystal controllers to portable 16-fader mc²36mkII and full-size mc²56 MkIII surfaces, every setup is tailored for operational ease.
Newly introduced fader bay pop-ups with touch control enable faster, more intuitive workflows in distributed setups, making them ideal for dynamic workflows in large venues or portable solutions for smaller spaces. On the backend, the combination of A__UHD Core and the HOME mc² DSP app delivers flexibility. For the first time, HOME Apps can run in converged setups, hosting HOME and HOME Apps on the same physical machine, reducing weight, rack space, and power consumption while lowering costs.
Enhanced Control and Precision for High-Demand Productions
The latest mc² software release brings significant upgrades to Lawo’s mixing consoles. The expanded EQ module now offers three dynamic bands per channel alongside four fully parametric static bands, delivering enhanced tonal control and precision. New channel strip displays with up to three mini-displays per strip provide improved visual feedback, while decentralized touch control and fader user buttons enable direct layer and bank switching for greater operational flexibility in distributed systems.
Converged Solutions for Theater and Live Production
For venues dedicated to music and performing arts, Lawo introduces native QLab and d&B SoundScape integration. Visitors will experience how mc² consoles seamlessly converge multiple Show Control and Automation providers, allowing operators to utilize the console surface to continuously control object data to immersive sound rendering engines.
Also, with the release of QLab 5.5, Lawo’s OSC Showcontrol Interface is now fully supported, enabling intuitive control of snapshots and scenes directly from QLab without manual OSC command input. Combined with generic OSC functionality and ADM-OSC, this integration automates complex workflows for theaters and opera houses.
Experience Lawo in Action
At booth 17306, visitors can explore hands-on demonstrations and trainings from notable industry professionals using the mc²56 production console, showcasing how even the most complex production requirements can be handled efficiently and intuitively.
Lawo Academy: Professional Training for the Broadcast Industry
Also at NAMM 2026, Lawo will also promote their advanced Lawo Academy — a flexible training platform for professionals by hosting on-booth console training sessions that include product demonstrations by industry experts. These sessions will help to introduce people to the Lawo audio platform, covering workflows that include broadcast, live, and immersive mixing.
