Story Highlights
TNT Sports’ networks and platforms will present wall-to-wall coverage of Saturday’s College Football Playoff first round highlighted by an exclusive doubleheader — No. 6 Ole Miss hosting No. 11 Tulane at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by No. 12 James Madison at No. 5 Oregon at 7:30 p.m. — across TNT, truTV and HBO Max.
On-site studio coverage for TNT Sports will originate live from Eugene, Ore., following the James Madison vs. Oregon game with the College Football Playoff Postgame Show presented by AT&T.
Adam Lefkoe will host the hour-long show alongside Hall of Famer Champ Bailey, two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Takeo Spikes, and Super Bowl champion Victor Cruz.
Saturday’s game crews will include Joe Tessitore, Jesse Palmer, Katie George and Quint Kessenich calling Tulane/Ole Miss, with Bob Wischusen, Louis Riddick, Kris Budden and Stormy Buonantony assigned to JMU/Oregon.
Bleacher Report will be live from inside Texas A&M’s Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, starting at 9 a.m. with B/R No Huddle featuring Aggie legend Johnny Manziel joining Mike Golic, Jr., and special guests. Manziel will also serve as a “Field Side Correspondent” throughout the game, capturing his experiences from the sidelines.
Bleacher Report and House of Highlights will have additional extensive content offerings throughout the CFP leading up to the National Championship, including on-the-ground immersive and real-time content, exclusive shortform interviews with players, social-native formats that capture fan energy and culture, and other highlights and storytelling opportunities that elevate the experiences surrounding college football’s biggest games of the season.
Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza sat down with Broadcast Boys host Lucas Brody to answer questions that he’s never been asked before.
TNT Sports is in its second year of presenting the College Football Playoff, and together with its coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament (jointly with CBS Sports), is the only media company to present both of college sports’ two most prestigious events. In its first year of CFP coverage in 2024, TNT Sports delivered its two most-watched college football telecasts ever.
Starting next year, TNT Sports will add two College Football Playoff quarterfinals games and one semifinals game, in addition to its first-round coverage.
Earlier this year, TNT Sports kicked off its first year of Big 12 football, including weekly live game telecasts, studio shows, original programming, and social and digital content across Bleacher Report and House of Highlights.
