End the Year on a High Note and Donate to the Sports Broadcasting Fund Today!

Last week, the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame held its annual induction ceremony, and all ticket sales were donated to the Sports Broadcasting Fund. This industry-wide financial support network should be a part of your annual giving as well.

Year-round, the Sports Broadcasting Fund provides financial assistance to individuals in our industry who are unable to work due to injuries and medical treatments, as well as those facing hardship due to fire, weather events, or other unforeseen circumstances.

This year, for example, the fund helped those in Los Angeles who were impacted by the terrible wildfires early in the year. And then there were those battling cancer, recovering from surgery, battling addiction, and even those who faced the challenge of scrambling to pay funeral bills for the loss of a loved one.

More importantly, the Fund is a first responder, often getting financial assistance to those in need within days, if not hours, of their application being submitted.
