English Premier League sues YouTube

BBC News reports that the English Premier League is suing YouTube
for alleged copyright infringement. Highlights of Premier League
matches have become a mainstay on YouTube which no doubt led to the
woes. “Defendants which own and operate YouTube have knowingly
misappropriated and exploited this valuable property for their own gain
without payment or licence to the owners of the intellectual property,”
the lawsuit said.
