TSN Kicks Off Season with CFL Preview Show

Do the
B.C. Lions have what it takes to repeat as Grey Cup Champions? Who will
be the Toronto Argonauts definitive No. 1 QB this season? How will the
Montreal Alouettes fare in their first full season under head coach Jim Popp? Viewers will get the answers to these questions and much more as TSN
kicks off its 2007 CFL campaign with a 1-hour CFL on TSN: 2007 Preview Show,
this Wednesday (June 27) at 7 p.m. ET.

Anchored
by the Wendy’s CFL on TSN studio panel of Dave Randorf, Chris Schultz, Matt
Dunigan and Jock Climie, the Preview Show examines the big question marks
facing each team as they head into the 2007 season, which gets underway on
Thursday (June 28).

In
Toronto, Chris Cuthbert and Glen Suitor join the panel from Rogers Centre,
where the Argos host the Lions in the 2007 CFL season opener (June 28 at 6:30
p.m. ET on TSN, TSN HD and TSN Broadband). Cuthbert and Suitor will
address

Toronto’s
log-jam at quarterback. Augmenting the

Argos’ QB discussion, Brian Williams goes
one-on-one with Allen in an in-depth, sit-down interview. The two will
discuss how Allen felt coming to training camp without a guaranteed starter’s
job. The 43-year-old Allen, who is Pro Football’s all-time leading passer
and one of the TSN Top 50 CFL Players of the modern era, will also talk about
what keeps him motivated despite having already accomplished so much over his
illustrious career.

The CFL on
TSN’s newest game analyst, Danny McManus, will also be on location, at
Commonwealth Stadium in

Edmonton.
The 3-time Grey Cup champion will join the panel and provide his thoughts on
all of the Eskimos’ personnel changes and what

Calgary needs to do in order to bounce back
after a pair of heartbreaking playoff losses the past 2 seasons.

In studio,
Dunigan and Climie will debate what

Winnipeg
must do to get to the next level and build on their improved season last year,
while Schultz examines

Hamilton’s
rebuilt roster. The panel will also discuss how

Montreal’s Jim Popp will handle coaching an
entire season and whether the Lions will be able to handle the pressure coming
off a championship season. In addition, Cuthbert and Suitor will address
how the Saskatchewan Roughriders will perform under new head coach Kent Austin.

At the end
of the Preview Show, TSN’s 5 players-turned-analysts (Suitor, McManus, Schultz,
Dunigan and Climie) put it all on the line as they disclose their predictions
for which teams will win the East and West Divisions and the Grey Cup.

The 2007
CFL season gets underway on Thursday (June 28) with an opening night
doubleheader on TSN and TSN Broadband, featuring B.C. @ Toronto at 6:30 p.m. ET
(also on TSN HD) immediately followed by Winnipeg @ Edmonton. All 50 of
TSN’s games this season will be available for the first time ever on TSN
Broadband at www.TSN.ca, with an unprecedented 35 match-ups available in High
Definition on TSN HD.
