Blitz selects Chyron HyperX for sports graphics

Blitz, one
of the UK’s leading providers of audio-visual equipment and services,
has installed a Chyron HyperX HD/SD-switchable graphics system, with
Lyric PRO to provide sophisticated, live 3D graphics and animations for
many of Europe’s major sporting events. The first outing for the
new HyperX purchased by Blitz was the French Open Tennis Tournament
held at Roland Garros, Paris. The system, which will be used for both
Outside Broadcast and studio production, will return to France in
September to provide HD graphics creation and playout for the Rugby
World Cup.

broadcasters for the last ten years for programmes such as Tour De
France, America’s Cup, Big Brother, Springwatch, Wimbledon, Premier
League Football and Golf. The HyperX was the most versatile graphics
computer available and it suits our needs on every level, commented Les

capabilities allow us to expand to meet the requirements of our
