TNT Televises PGA Grand Slam of Golf from Bermuda

Network Television (TNT) will provide exclusive coverage of the 2007 PGA Grand
Slam of Golf from the Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda, marking the 25th anniversary
of the event and the first time that it will be played outside of the
U.S.
Competitors in the elite tournament must be a major championship winner to
qualify. This year’s competitors include 2007 Masters Champion Zach Johnson,
2007 U.S. Open Champion Angel Cabrera, 2007 British Open Champion Padraig
Harrington and the world’s #3 ranked player and 2003 U.S. Open Champion Jim
Furyk (alternate for PGA Champion Tiger Woods). TNT will air exclusive
coverage of the unique event from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET/PT on Tues., October 16.
Coverage continues on Wed., October 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT.
TNT’s
event coverage will include veteran golf announcers Verne Lundquist
(play-by-play), Bobby Clampett (analyst), Billy Kratzert (course reporter) and Jim
Huber (course reporter) who will provide on-air analysis and commentary.
