Evertz to show 3GB routers at InfoCOMM 2008

Evertz
will showcase its cutting-edge EQX, Xenon and modular line of 3Gb/s capable
routers, combined processor/controller and router product line (VIP-X), as well
as its fiber distribution line up at InfoComm 08 June 18-20, 2008, at the Las
Vegas Convention Center, Booth #C1940.

On
display at InfoComm 08 will be Evertz’s line of EQX and Xenon range of audio/video
routing and router-control system. The EQX platform is Evertz’s flagship
routing and distribution solution. The EQX was designed for high
availability by adopting extensive redundancy for all critical system elements.
With this, and the ability to route to 576×576 signals, the EQX is ideal for
mission critical and demanding 7/24 environments including network, local
broadcaster, mobile production, cable, military, government and corporate
applications.

Controlling not only the router’s cross-points but also a series
of modular gear parameters via SNMP is the CP-2200E – a very sophisticated
advanced panel that allows you to create a very powerful and simple interface
to your entire system so users have real time control over signals, displays and
their router destinations.
The CP-2200E remote control panel features two high-resolution
color LCD displays alongside an array of function assignable and dynamic LCD
buttons, all of which are fully programmable. The two LCD displays
intelligently interact with the panel’s buttons and rotary controls, updating
automatically as different operation facilities are selected. The CP-2200E also
enables users to have real-time control over an MVP or VIP system. Get
graphical visualizations of layouts prior to loading them, control what signal
is routed to what multiviewer window, and select an audio to be monitored.

Evertz’s
InfoComm 08 booth will also include the VIPX and EFX – combined router and
multi-signal display solution for control rooms or high-end digital signage
that is not only cost and space efficient, but also offers outstanding future
expandability options while maintaining router I/O and driving more displays.
Coupled with the flagship MVP processor and controller, Evertz offers the most
versatile solutions for multi-signal display wall applications.
