Showtime Arabia Goes Tapeless with EVS

Showtime Arabia will use EVS’ instant tapeless technology for the studio production of English Premier League soccer.

The pay TV network in the Middle East and North Africa will use one XT[2] (6 channels) ingest server; two XT[2] (6 channels) production servers associated with MulticamLSM software to create clips and highlights; five workstations with IPDirector software for logging; two workstations with IPDirector software for content browsing; one workstation with CleanEdit software for on-the-fly editing (nonlinear editing); and one XStore[2] near-line storage server for archiving logged matches and clips.
