Riedel Communications to Raid InfoComm 2009

Riedel Communications will display its new Artist 5000 series intercom control panels, new Actor intercom interface, new RockNet 100 three-in-one audio interface, and MediorNet fiber-optic signal transport solutions at InfoComm 2009 in Orlando, FL, June 14-19.

The Artist 5000 panels are available either with marker strips or with eight-character, high-contrast LCD displays, and they feature an integrated loudspeaker, a gooseneck microphone, and LED indication for “shift”-page mode, headset mode, and microphone activation.

The Actor allows trunking between Riedel Artist Digital Matrix Intercom systems and third-party intercom installations, including point-to-point connections with port alpha transfer and tally, as well as group calls and conferences (party lines). Multiple calls to one destination use only one trunk line. It is already operating at ESPN’s new West Coast flagship production facility located in the L.A. LIVE sports and entertainment complex.

The RockNet 100 is bundled with an expansion card for Yamaha digital mixing consoles, and its audio interface combines the input and output sections of three RockNet 300 devices into one 19-inch/three-rack-unit digital stage-box. It offers a transport capacity of up to 80 channels.

And Reidel’s MediorNet combines signal transport, routing and signal processing, and conversion into one integrated real-time network. It has an open-network topology, supporting ring, star, daisy-chain, or any combination. MediorNet also includes software-based broadcast-quality processing and conversion on-board.
