Chyron HyperX2 Brings Graphics Down Under

Global Television Australia will use Chyron’s HD/SD-switchable HyperX2 graphics systems for its coverage of live sports and events, including Fox Sports Australian Open Tennis, So You Think You Can Dance, Australian Idol, and the MTV Australian Video Music Awards.

The broadcasters also deployed two new custom-built, double-expando 24-camera OB trucks—“HD1” and “HD2”—each equipped with HyperX2.

Hyper X2 combines the Lyric PRO 2D/3D content-creation software with a video-graphics processor unique to Chyron.
