NBA Takes League Pass International on the Go with New Mobile Service
The NBA’s international subscription streaming package, NBA League Pass International, is now available on select mobile devices in more than 200 countries and territories. The live game online and mobile service allows subscribers to watch up to 40 live games each week. All of the live games will feature play-by-play in English. NBA League Pass International is available in three tiered options – Standard, Premium, and Mobile.
NBA League Pass Standard
The standard package will include up to 40 live games each week through NBA.com during the regular season and NBA All-Star 2011 in Los Angeles. Each of the weekly games in the package will be available for fans to view on demand for 24 hours after they air, along with access to live stats and scores from around the league.
NBA League Pass Premium
The Premium package will provide fans with access to live games, as well as multi-game viewing, DVR functions to pause and rewind games in-action, and a full season archive to view each game from the package on-demand. Additionally, there will be a customizable game timeline feature giving fans the ability to jump to key plays, searchable by teams and players. The Premium Pass will include access to live games on select mobile devices through NBA Game Time, the NBA’s official mobile application.
NBA Game Time and NBA League Pass Mobile
NBA League Pass will also be available on select mobile devices as an in-app purchase through NBA Game Time. For the first time, an international version of NBA Game Time will be available for fans on the iPhone, iPod touch, and Android mobile platforms. The service will also be released on the iPad in the coming weeks.
Throughout the year, NBA Game Time will feature video of one live game each week and up to 50 daily video highlights, including top plays from around the league and game recaps. Additionally, fans will have access to live home and away radio broadcasts of games, daily photo galleries, live statistics, and scores.
