CSN Chicago Delivers Highest Bulls Regular-Season Rating to Date
Comcast SportsNet Chicago delivered its highest Bulls regular season game rating ever on December 21, a 5.70 household rating for its live coverage of the Bulls home contest against the Philadelphia 76ers.
For the 121-76 victory by the Bulls, Comcast SportsNet attracted approx. 200,000 households for the entire game and posted a 7.03 peak rating during the 9:00 PM quarter-hour (more than 246,000 households). The 5.70 single game regular-season ratings record on Comcast SportsNet shatters the previous record set earlier this season on November 16 at Houston (5.51). Comcast SportsNet was also the #1-highest rated television network in the Chicago market for all TV households for the entire length of the game (7:00-9:30 PM), along with being #1 for the entire game in the demos of Men 18-34, Men 18-49 & Adults 18-34.
So far this season, the Bulls on Comcast SportsNet are averaging a 4.09 household rating, a year-to-date increase of 81% compared to last season through 16 telecasts. In addition, Kia Bulls Post Game Live ratings are up 100% year-to-date.
