Tekserve Unveils Expanded Line of Avid, Adobe Workstations

Recently Tekserve teamed up with HP and RED to offer the Z820 RED Edition, a fast workstation designed specifically for RED Digital Cinema workflows. Now, Tekserve has announced that it has worked with HP again to deliver an expanded line of workstations suitable for all digital video workflow: the Tekserve HP Z Series Avid and Adobe Editions.

The Z820 RED Edition is approved by RED Digital Cinema. This new series – the Z420, Z620 and Z820 – are fully qualified by Avid as well.

Tekserve’s unique Transition Technology simplifies the management and support of the workstation. Coherent logical configuration of defaults, desktop layout, and system organization as a foundation – complemented by an embedded high-speed restore mechanism – enables users to quickly and efficiently restore their configuration to its optimized state. Users also have access to exclusive Tekserve capabilities, such as subscription-based restore management.

Tekserve will custom configure a user’s Avid or Adobe Edition workstation to suit the needs of their particular environment and workflow. Each Z Series model can be custom configured to suit a user’s needs.

The Z420 offers professional expandability in an accessible tool-free mini-tower form factor at an affordable price. The unit features up to eight discrete processing cores, the latest processing and I/O power from Intel, and the latest graphics technology.

The Z620 delivers twice the memory capacity of the previous generation, a larger power supply, support for single or dual socket processor configurations, and up to 16 discrete processor cores all in a quiet, compact footprint.

Built for high-end computing and visualization. the dual-processor Z820 Workstation delivers high performance in an expandable chassis.
