Campus Clips: George Washington Launches RaiseHigh.tv; Comcast SportsNet Rolls Out Hoops Lineup

George Washington Athletics launched RaiseHigh.tv – the new online destination for GWsports.com’s expanding multimedia coverage of all 23 Colonials’ programs. Formerly GW All-Access, RaiseHigh.tv will serve as the new home for all live streaming and on-demand video and audio content for Colonials’ athletics. Currently offering live video streaming for nine GW sports – Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Softball, Volleyball and Men’s Water Polo – RaiseHigh.tv plans to expand to Baseball at renovated Barcroft Park and Women’s Water Polo inside the Charles E. Smith Center this spring. RaiseHigh.tv will also host live audio streaming of all GW Men’s Basketball road games with Voice of the Colonials Byron Kerr this season. Powered by the CBSsports.com College Network, RaiseHigh.tv is also expanding content across mobile devices. Already compatible with most Android platforms, CBS announced the introduction of on-demand video content for iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPad in September with plans to extend coverage to live streaming content in the future…

… Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network released its college hoops slate last week. The extensive schedule includes games from Philadelphia-area teams La Salle, Penn, Saint Joseph’s, Temple and Drexel, plus national powerhouses including Syracuse and Memphis men’s teams and UConn and Notre Dame women’s teams.

Comcast SportsNet will carry a full slate of conference tournament action with CAA Men’s and Women’s tournament action, and Big East Women’s Tournament second round and quarterfinal games.

Neil Hartman hosts a new college basketball show, “Big Men on Campus” debuting on Thursday, November 15 at 6:30 p.m. on The Comcast Network.  This 30-minute program will air throughout college basketball season and will feature a local Philadelphia-area coach each week and will break down the top hoops stories making headlines in Philly and across the nation.

In addition to comprehensive coverage including scores, highlights and special features during Comcast SportsNet’s news and talk programs, Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will also have a full slate of college basketball shows including Inside Villanova Basketball with Jay Wright, Above the Rim: Temple Basketball, Penn State Basketball: Inside the Paint, Inside Rutgers Basketball, and Inside Notre Dame Basketball

… Lipscomb, the Atlantic Sun Conference, and ESPN are working together to bring six events live from Allen Arena in November on ESPN3. The collaboration continues on Friday and Saturday, as the semifinal and final rounds of the A-Sun Volleyball Championship are aired as the Lady Bisons attempt to defend back-to-back-to-back A-Sun Tournament titles.  The final game of the set airs on Monday, Nov. 26, as men’s basketball hosts defending Ohio Valley Conference champion Murray State…
