Pac-12 Networks To Keynote SVG’s TranSPORT Event

SVG’s 2015 TranSPORT event at the Times Square Doubletree Suites on Nov. 10 will feature a keynote case study from Pac-12 Networks, detailing their Emmy-winning IP production model and campus-to-campus fiber network. Pac-12 Networks’ embrace of IP production has introduced higher quality production and cost savings across 850 live televised events each year.
Employing 100% IP networking plus high-end encoding, compression, communication, and digital signal processing, Pac-12 Networks has been able to eliminate the need for large trucks and satellite uplinks and has centralized its control rooms at at its production facility in San Francisco.
