Sports Video Group Launches New Mobile App

The Sports Video Group has launched SVG Mobile, offering a brand-new way for members and readers of SVG to stay up-to-date on the latest sports-video–production and –technology news. The app is now available and free to download in the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, and the Microsoft Store for Windows Phones.

Screen Shot 2015-10-15 at 12.00.57 PM“The SVG community is always on the move, so the ability to make our news easily accessible to them is what the new app is all about,” says Ken Kerschbaumer, co-executive director, editorial services, SVG. “We are all about finding new ways to better engage our members and those interested in the sports-video–production industry. It’s a proud moment because it will make it easier than ever for our members and sponsors to keep on top of industry developments.”

SVG Mobile features all the latest industry news and analysis. Users can easily share content via e-mail, text message, their favorite social-media platform, and more from within the app. Users can filter news and go deeper on a specific subject using the pullout menu. Topics include Production, Technology, Digital, College, Venue, Business, and news from our friends at SVG Europe.

Also, watch the latest video interviews and featured-event panels in the Video portal and engage directly with SVG through the app, using Facebook and Twitter.

SVG Mobile also keeps you up-to-date on upcoming SVG events — including the 10th SVG Summit on Dec. 14 and 15 at the New York Hilton — so you won’t miss out on the next chance to learn from and network with your peers. An events calendar offers descriptions, dates, times, and directions to the venue.
