DTV Audio Group at NAB 2017

Advanced Audio Production and Distribution Seminar

Sunday, April 23 at the Alexis Park Hotel in Las Vegas

The DTV Audio Group, in association with the Sports Video Group, invites you to attend the 2017 DTVAG@NAB Advanced Television Audio Forum. The forum will be held from 12pm to 6 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017, and will take place at the Alexis Park Hotel at 375 East Harmon Avenue in Las Vegas.

The transition to streamed content delivery and the growth of virtualized IT-based production infrastructure continue to accelerate the evolution of audio services and content creation and distribution workflows.

This year we’ll take the first look at advanced surround in day-to day live sports production, along with large-scale IP audio networking, and work on real-team object audio data transport and interchange standards.  We will examine the practical results of the spectrum auction for wireless microphones, and discuss challenges of making accessible audio a reality.  This event is always a great opportunity for a lively exchange of ideas among television audio experts.  With incredibly rapid changes underway in television distribution models, this year should be no exception
