FloSports, Big Ten Network Join Forces to Provide Comprehensive Coverage of Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships
FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, and the Big Ten Network (BTN) announced an agreement that will provide comprehensive live coverage of the Big Ten Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships on FloTrack and on BTN Plus. The deal is an expansion of FloSports’ multi-year agreement with the Big Ten Network to provide live and on-demand coverage for more than 1,000 non-televised Big Ten events.
The events can be seen on FloTrack, as well as on FloSports iOS, Roku, and Apple TV 4 apps and on BTN Plus via iOS, Android, and Roku applications.
For the first time, the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships will be aired in its entirety for fans across the globe. Beyond in-depth coverage of the championships, FloTrack will provide athlete rankings, interviews, and breaking news.
Each year, the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships hosts some of the top teams and athletes in the country to compete for and earn conference titles and honors. This year, top schools include Penn State, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The 2018 Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, on Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24.
“The Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships showcases some of the most talented student-athletes in the country,” FloSports co-founder and CEO Martin Floreani said.
“Our expansion with Big Ten Network adds a robust lineup of championship-level coverage to FloTrack.”
“Over the past several years, we’ve heard from both coaches and fans that would like to see wall-to-wall streaming coverage of the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships,” said Michael Calderon, Senior Vice President, Programming and Digital Media at BTN.
“Through FloSports and BTN Plus, anyone interested in witnessing Big Ten schools compete in nearly 40 events now has the opportunity to do so.”
