NAB 2018: Brainstorm To Exhibit New Products For 20th Straight Year

Brainstorm will be exhibiting at NAB 2018 for the 20th consecutive year, featuring the latest versions of its product line of AR, virtual sets and motion graphics solutions, along with showcasing several new innovations.

The highlight of the show will be the award-winning InfinitySet, which will demonstrate advanced, hyper-realistic virtual studio and AR content thanks to its Combined Render Engine, as recently seen at the PyeongChang Winter Games Opening Ceremony along with other industry-first technologies. This approach combines the Unreal engine from Epic Games with Brainstorm’s renowned eStudio render engine, resulting in a perfect solution to create state-of-the-art hyper-realistic scenes, that also integrate elements which are essential for broadcast operation, such as 3D data-driven motion graphics, charts and many others.

Aston, Brainstorm’s motion graphics creation, CG and playout solution, now integrates with InfinitySet to improve the integrated graphics workflow. InfinitySet maintains the animation logic and structure of the Aston graphics, enhancing the creation, management and use of Aston content.

Brainstorm and never.no will release OnMedia at NAB 2018, a brand-new end-to-end solution for managing virtual and augmented reality 3D graphics based on social media feeds. OnMedia allows end-to-end social content management, customization and publishing to both TV graphics and second screen environments, going far beyond the requirement for displaying live social data in dynamic TV formats.

Also featured will be Neuron, the MOS-compatible, template-based system that integrates graphics creation and management into most common newsroom, continuity and broadcast traffic operation environments for a fully collaborative graphics workflow.

The competition to capture and retain the audience’s attention is intense, and viewers demand higher production value and the highest realism possible when using virtual sets and AR. Brainstorm’s solutions are widely used around the world to dramatically enhance content presentation and provide new narrative possibilities for audience engagement while saving on production costs.
