PixMix Video Services Installs HD-SDI Connection to Connect to The Switch – Boston

PixMix Video Services recently installed a 1.485 Gbps Uncompressed HD-SDI connection from their Boston studio location to The Switch – Boston.

Founded in 1998, PixMix Video provides a full range of live and live to tape video production support. From its Boston studio – PixMix provides single and multi-camera production for live shots, satellite media tours, corporate and entertainment productions, as well as webcasts. Tape playouts and studio rentals are also available.

In addition to its single-camera ENG/EFP field crews, Multi-Camera Flypack Systems are the signature services of PixMix. The company maintains an inventory of 6 HD cameras configured into 2 separate and distinct Flypack Systems. Each of PixMix’s Flypacks have full Camera Control Units, engineering support, 16×16 video routers, RTS intercom systems, camera tally lights and return video, plus full recording and playback capabilities.
