The IP Control Buddy is a powerful yet compact control system. Use it standalone or integrated with a larger 3rd party control system, to quickly and cost-effectively get the job done.
Controlling any GPI/O, IP, RS422, or RS232 enabled device, located anywhere, from a single button push, the IP Control Buddy can perform simple or complex functions and is perfect for flyaway kits, small production tasks, and one-button applications, powered with Power over Ethernet (PoE) or an external power supply.
The IP Control Buddy can be combined with other devices, such as Ensemble Designs’ ultra-compact BrightEye NXT routers to manage sources and signal paths under conditions where space is at a premium.
The panel’s ‘programmer-free’ web browser-based configuration tools make it easy to configure IP Control Buddy for specific control and monitoring applications.
Use the Tally Assignment Table webpage to configure the LCD screen on the face of each key for application & tally specific text legends and background screen colors.
One button press can:
- Turn a GPI Output On or Off
- Transmit a Serial Command
- Transmit an Ethernet TCP, UDP, SNMP, or HTTP command
- Receive a Serial & Ethernet
- Command to turn a GPI On or Off or tally a key
