Mediapro’s LVP To Provide Spanish Broadcast of Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020 Regional Playoffs

LVP (Mediapro Group) has reached an agreement with Activision to broadcast the regional finals of the Call of Duty: Mobile 2020 World Championship.

LVP will be in charge of the broadcast in Spanish of the regional playoffs in Latin America, scheduled to take place between 26th and 27th September from 12:00 p.m. (MX / CO / PE) 2:00 p.m. (AR / CL), and which can be followed in their entirety ‘online’ via official Call of Duty: Mobile Twitch and YouTube channels.

The eight best teams in the region have classified for this stage of the competition, (INTZ, GODSENT, Galactic Gaming, iFX, FEB E-SPORTS, Dayton Esports, Influence Rage, BeeBl4ck E-Sports), and will now fight it out in double elimination duels for the Latin American champion title.

“For more than two years we’ve been committed to bringing our passion and experience in eSports to Latin America,” says Jordi Soler, CEO of LVP. “For us, it’s with great pride and responsibility that we approach the news that Activision has chosen us as partners for the first edition of the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020. We want the regional finals in Latin America to be at the forefront of a competition with global reach like this one and we’re bringing all our experience to the table to provide this service.”

LVP is the largest organizer of Spanish-language video game competitions in the world and has been operating in Latin America for more than two years. Specifically, the company has offices in Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia, although it is also spearheading national competitions held in Chile, Peru, and Ecuador, in addition to producing different continental competitions.

Call of Duty: Mobile is a mobile shooter launched by Activision in October 2019 and that, in its first month of life, broke records with more than 100 million downloads. The 2020 Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship kicked off in April and, after several elimination phases, now enters its final stretch with the regional playoffs.
