SVG On Demand: NASCAR’s Wyatt Hicks Chats Augmented Reality and the New Mobile Game, NASCAR Mobile Playoffs AR

Users can race their own customized car on any of the Playoff tracks within the NASCAR MOBILE app

To celebrate its 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs (which continues this weekend Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Sunday, 7 p.m. ET, NBCSN), the league has released a new mobile game with the NASCAR Mobile App: NASCAR Mobile Playoffs AR.

The augmented reality-based game allows fans to customize their own car and race this year’s 16 playoff drivers on all 10 playoff tracks. NASCAR calls it “by far the most robust AR experience ever produced for the NASCAR Mobile app” and it marks the first time that users can actually race in an augmented reality environment.
