On October 21, SVG partnered with LiveU Sports to analyze the latest developments in remote production. LiveU’s Director of Sales and Sales Group Manager, Sports Janel Fleming and Tupelo Honey’s Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer John Servizzi shared how, in 2020, production models have evolved in dramatic ways to keep crews safe while maintaining the integrity of the broadcast product.
Servizzi shares how Tupelo Honey, which produces hundreds of live sports events for clients that include multiple NFL franchises, the NCAA, Major League Soccer, Major League Rugby, and dozens of other collegiate conferences and sports networks, are producing live events under strict COVID guidelines.
Fleming, meanwhile, offers perspective on some solutions that are helping broadcasters meet the challenges of today’s environment, including LiveU’s new LU800. She also shares what excited her about the impact 5G can have on the world of live sports video production and distribution.
