Join SVG/HBF Tonight at 8 pm EST to Learn About Dealing with Loneliness, Isolation, and Stress

SVG and Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation invite you to join us today and tomorrow at 8 pm EST for one-hour zoom meetings designed to offer advice and tips for dealing with issues like loneliness, isolation, stress, and more. The “Win Back Your Life: Mental Health and Recovery Speaker Series” is free and doesn’t require any registration, making it as easy as possible to attend. Hosted by a Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation professional and featuring guest speakers, each call will be a chance to learn, ask questions, and more.

“These free online events are designed to give people in our industry a way to connect with leading experts who will offer advice for those looking to navigate these difficult times safely,” says Ken Kerschbaumer, SVG, Co-Executive Director, Editorial Services. “Participants will also be able to ask questions and we will also have celebrity guest speakers who will discuss their journey through the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Moira McGinley, Chief Development Officer at Hazelden Betty Ford, says HBF has seen an increased need for mental health and recovery services through the pandemic.

“We are pleased to be a resource for the SVG community,” she says. “This series offers the opportunity to learn how we and are families can remain or get healthy during these extraordinarily stressful times.”
