Major League Soccer + EA to Unveil New 2023 eMLS Season

Major League Soccer and EA will formally announce the 2023 eMLS season.

If you aren’t familiar, eMLS is the esports and gaming property of Major League Soccer. Built around the EA SPORTS FIFA franchise, its goal is to utilize gaming to reach global audiences, raise the profile of MLS, and grow its next generation of fans. eMLS has grown from 19 MLS clubs in 2018 to 27 clubs participating in the upcoming 2023 season.

The 2023 season will feature world-class EA SPORTS FIFA 23 players competing for the largest prize pool to date, captivating competition, and engaging MLS content enhancing the cultural esports and soccer connection — all concluding with an in-person eMLS Cup in Austin in March during SXSW. Will 2022 eMLS champion, Atlanta United’s Paulo Neto, defend the title?
