Former Turner Sports COO Joins PlayOn! Sports As President & Chief Operating Officer

PlayOn! Sports, the holding company for the NFHS Network and GoFan announces the hiring of former Turner Sports COO Matt Hong as its President and Chief Operating Officer.

During his tenure at Turner Sports, Hong oversaw the acquisition and programming of numerous events including the NBA, March Madness, MLB, NASCAR, the PGA Championship, and UEFA Champions League across the networks of TBS and TNT. He also oversaw 24×7 properties including NBA TV, Bleacher Report, NBA Digital, NCAA Digital, SII Digital, NASCAR.com, PGATOUR.com, PGA.com and GOLF.com.

Prior to taking on the role of President and COO at PlayOn! Sports, Hong sat on the board of directors for the company. In his new role, he will lead the company’s revenue and growth functions, as well as the company’s numerous state association and school partnerships.
